Unless it's already been covered and I missed it, the celestials in the star wars universe saw the vong's perversions with the force and punished them by rendering their home world a slowly decaying and dying planet after severing their connection with the force. However, the vong were so twisted by their force usage that they retained their hatred and sought vengeance beyond their own galaxy by denying sentient life anywhere other than their own because of their punishment.

I know I'm gonna get alot of hate, but I don't really like them, they don't feel 'right' in star wars, I like the rakatan or even the sith species because they felt like they belonged in the Star Wars universe, while the Yuuzhan Vong look like they could be in a marvel movie.

Going back thru the back catalog. You are truly a knowledgeable fellow and a man of culture

The Yuuzhan Vong are known to be responsible for the complete extinction of a number of species in the Star Wars galaxy, most notably the rabbit like Gerb and the serpentine Slith, both native to Yavin 13. When the Yuuzhan Vong attacked the entire Yavin system, both the Gerb and the Slith were completely wiped out. A bit disturbing if you ask me.

I love the recounting of Canderus Ordo's encounter with a (potential) York-et at the edge of the Galaxy.
It adds a bit of mystery and foreshadowing to the Yuuzhan Vong's arrival thousands of years before the war.

What confuses me is how all the Vong could fit on a single planet after they were defeated. I guess the Vong themselves were supposed to be like the elite 0.1% while everything else was their biological war machines.

You should REALLY do a video about what all species in the Star Wars galaxy is most likely from another galaxy / universe.

In other words: some star wars writers decided to rip off tyranids but make them more individual and stick them in star wars. Not that I care fiction iterates on itself coming up with new sometimes great stuff. I'm sure the tyranids were ripped off from something maybe Alien
