instead of boots of swiftness I would suggest boots of mobility cause you are faster out of battle and when thresh in battle he is more likely to go in with his his Q so there is no benefit to have swiftness in battle when you don't move a lot

To counter thresh just buy a control, makes his w useless

You throw lantern to dying teammate, they don’t remember what the lantern does and dies, but if you don’t throw the lantern, the teammate knows exactly how much shielding it gives, how long the cooldown is, and how far it can go.

I was wondering why should we max Q, when we suppose to wait for a specific circumstances to throw it, so CDR is not a big deal , but W gives you more shield each lvl ( sorry for my English )

However I also think it would be helpful for you to describe each ability because I still don't really know what Thresh can do other than hook or throw a lantern that does something
