what lead to the crises.... Buffet here talks all kinds of shannanigans, but does not mention the most obvious... a lack of regulation lead to the crises, period!

“We need a powerful fed.”

Really?

We have a fiat system. So the Fed simply creates and destroys currency……it is price control.

So we need all prices to be controlled?

Perhaps when we had some standard and not a fiat system the Fed could be helpful and just focus on trying to manage money.

But it all began when the Fed won their battle with Truman.

Then were given another mandate to manage when the labor market became their domain as well.

I guess Buffet is a pure Keynesian. Doesn’t believe in free markets and thinks a currency should be managed by private banks.

You are trapped in a pay to win video game.
The Devs control the game currency and can pull the rug out from under you whenever they want.

After the devastation of the Greenspan Put all we now have is the everything bubble.

And when it pops?

The Fed will pull CBDCs out of their ass and really control every aspect of our lives via programable currency that can decay if not spent. No savings folks.

You see when the game you play gets too much to bear with endless cash grabs you can walk away.

But when the game is your life in your country you are stuck.

Buy hard assets that no central bank can print into oblivion.

I don’t care if it’s gold or bitcoin or Ethereum, or Pokémon cards or watches.

Stop keeping your hard earned money in dirty fiat.

FED bailing out big banks is literal market manipulation. Not far from communist central planning. There are no two ways about this. Whether you want free market or you want central planning. It's tempting to save big business to stabilize society but it will only do more harm than good.

Buffett shows here whose side he's on: the super-rich. He wants the government to bail them out for their own greedy and stupidity but won't criticism them.
