It's really quite simple folks...if your journey to accepting yourself as a gay man or woman was a lifelong one that enveloped your mind constantly and brought mixed emotions of grief, fear, lust, self-loathing, happiness, etc... and coming out was a very difficult thing to do then you are someone who was born that way and really had no say or choice in how you turned out. You are a straight person who decided to try something that will maximize profits and thus bring you joy. Being gay isn't strictly about sex. I knew I was gay before I even knew what gay or sex was. You can be gay your whole life even if you're a virgin and never engage in actual gay sex. Being gay involves much more than sex. It's a much deeper issue of an innate mismatch between your biological sex and your nontangible traits such as personality, mannerisms, sexual attraction, speech, interests, and behavior.
