Izzy underestimated him far too much but it’s understandable, be in his shoes , your last fight was knocking out cold freaking Pereira, his life long rival, a 6’4 monster that can probably compete in heavyweight. Izzy thought he was untouchable but it doesn’t work like that.

No reach or height advantage from Izzy in this fight. He also underestimated Sean's power and never recovered after he got rocked.... Back to the drawing board for Izzy. Great execution from Sean... 10/10 fight!!!

The only thing I wish would've gone different in this fight is to have Strickland start walking Izzy down, trash-talking the whole way, starting about the 4th round. Or the beginning of the 5th. Damn, that crowd got HYPED when he started with that.

Ufc this doesn't make you golden boy look good. Adesanya already lost almost all of his fans. Showing this back is going to make him lose the few fan's he has left. Or maybe it's the plan to pump up Strickland although i dont think he needs this 😂. There are not a lot of fighters more popular in the UFC right now
