As someone who is a therian, this song represents how I feel very well. I know I'm human, through and through. But I feel like I should be my theriotype, a cat. It feels strange, and I sometimes remember memories that I know aren't from this life. It feels like I'm not supposed to be human.

I heard this live at a concert, it was a fall out boy concert in DC around last year it was in a hockey stadium. Marina had a few songs, same with this guy I forgot his name but he had a piano coverd in glitter and there where stars hanging from it.

As someone that dissociates often, the main part of the song kinda perfectly describes how it feels to me to dissociate. It just feels like I'm made of nothing but consciousness. I'm just uncomfortably aware that nothing around me is necessarily real, not even my body. I often feel disconnected from myself when I'm in a dissociative episode. I could be looking at my hands and be convinced I'm in the body of another person. I'm not me, I'm not my body, I'm just a form of consciousness that's floating about.
