ОтветитьWhat happened to your hair man
ОтветитьThe thing is that there’s much better ways to spend your money.
They’re not bad but they are built to be disposable in a few years which I don’t really like when I can get a $200 AUD watch that can last a decade
If I wanted a light watch, I’d wear my f91w since it’s so cheap and very functional.
I guess if I wanted to wear something colourful but something else that I can not wear daily, this is my option
I used Swatch while freediving. Sometimes I forget i'm wearing one because it's so light.
ОтветитьSwatch watches are beautiful. A joy to wear. Great watches
ОтветитьI had one in high school and liked it. One day maybe I'll get one for sentimental reason.
ОтветитьNever was a fan and I'm old enough to remember all the ballyhoo surrounding their launch, I really enjoy modding my watches with different straps, so I could never get on with swatch's.
ОтветитьTengo swatch de plástico de finales de los 90 y han envejecido fatal los materiales, tengo casio de esa época y están perfectos
ОтветитьWith the watch on your wrist you prove your complete ignorance of style. Look at the "Body and Soul " automatic Swatch. You cannot find another automatic sceleton watch as beautiful for the price. My automatic Swatches are still working fine after 25 years. And look at the vintage solar Swatches, also still working after decades.
ОтветитьThe popularity of Swatch mystifies me slightly too. When I was young enough to be interested in plastic quartz watches, Swatch was too expensive and gimmicky to interest me. I didn't have the disposable income to be buying watches more suited for clubbing than going to school. Now that I have the money to spend on watches I don't need, I still don't want a plastic quartz watch. Some of their steel models look OK - there's a chronograph (which isn't the MoonSwatch) that looks decent, however being locked into Swatch's straps is a deal breaker.
ОтветитьTil I found the Lorus titanium field watch, I wore a plastic Jellyfish Swatch and it was the most comfortable watch I'd ever worn, the plastic strap was a bit sweaty though. It only lasted a few years before the quartz movement stopped working.
ОтветитьMy Swatch rules, if I want to look goofy and fun, or have something on somewhat interesting, that's what I go for.
Also, no way I'm getting the system 51.
I have a Swatch Sistem 51 Irony - Boreal. Got it just after launch and it’s still going strong and is one of my favourite watches in my collection. Don’t listen to the haters, just wear what YOU like and you won’t go far wrong.
ОтветитьI disagree, swatches are a lot of fun but the quality is horrendous i don't recommend it unless you can get it under $20.
ОтветитьSwatch watches were the cool kid who wasn't trying to be cool in the 80s and it sort of stuck. The plastic is what I love about them. These just keep getting better with time.
ОтветитьSorry, but you just don't understand. Swatch watches simply cannot be compared with typical watches. They are a thing of their own, and completely apart from regular watches. You must understand that they are fashion accessory watches, art pieces, graphic art pieces, and second watches. Hence the name S-watch. They are a breakthrough cultural event in the history of watches, design, and pop culture. They are intended to be "democratic", affordable, and unpretentious, fun, and cheeky at times. I have pieces I got back in the 80's and they are working great! They are wearable art time-pieces, wearable time-pieces toys. So, I think your review is misguided, and rather misleading.
ОтветитьThe prices are pretty affordable and the colorful/unusual design is what makes the price worth it, you don't really find that kind of designs anywhere else. I wouldn't go for the minimalist designs you choosed here if I were to buy a Swatch. This video is quite old but their NEON collection that released recently is a great exemple of why Swatch has their place in the market :)
ОтветитьThis video is MEH to me. A very limited vision of Swatch
ОтветитьTrue, you never see anyone wearing one...
ОтветитьI've seen a few when I was in school and later education (20 years ago). But since then I know of noone wearing a Swatch. Once in a while I see on out in the public. So surely there's market. But these days many students just look at their phone for time.
ОтветитьThe sealed plastic case is great, makes the watches super light and means you can have cases in many different colours to compliment the design. I've been into them since the 80s and the ones I always go for are the basic 34mm, this is the original get's size from the 80s and it is indeed officially called Gent, the lady's size (officially called Lady) is 25mm. Watch cases (unfortunately in my opinion) grew over time, but Swatch still makes the original Gent and also a "New Gent" for more modern tastes (I'd argue less stylish) at 41mm.
Big Swatch fan here :)
I like Swatch. I had a navy blue one and now I have a brown one. I always get compliments on the ones I buy. They also last a long time which shows that in terms of functioning they are pretty good quality.
ОтветитьChildhood Time Forever
It’s timeless and Finest
Pure Mechanical Time🫀
What’s the name of the green one?
ОтветитьMy man just made an ad for Swatch 💀
ОтветитьL Video
Ответитьbro swatch is like the first watch we all had, we all know and love, all have, always delivers what we want for a cheaper price, i love swatch bro, it has a sentimental value to it, i don't expect a vacheron quality from a swatch, it's logical.
ОтветитьLet me guess, you’re a “serious” watch person? 😂
ОтветитьSwatch is like big no....they are so pricey for what they give...for exemple,in Croatia, they are like at so high price that its like some sort of joke...
ОтветитьI kind of like that plastic aesthetic here. For about a month or two I am thinking to buy one, and found model Twice again as go to for me. I don’t like the price (85€), but I think I will buy those anyway, and find out how it feels to wear those daily.
ОтветитьI like that translucent watch. Reminds me of apples iMac G3 computers
ОтветитьLloyd Blankfein & i disagree with this title.
Ответитьstupid video.. this watch sells at 45 USD.. brit guy dont know much about watch to be honest
ОтветитьI had the old model the still one
ОтветитьI wouldn't make comparison to other brands when it comes to plastic Swatches. Their idea is so great. Keeping time and inbuilt quality are secondary features to me unlike with all the other brands.
Ответитьbuy a good swatch then instead of the ones targeted at youths… makes a difference
ОтветитьDon't get me wrong but these plastic watches saved the Swiss watch industries when quartz crisis shook the Swiss watch industries...
Ответитьmillions of people wear swatch
the quality is TOP
Swatch build quality is not that much good if you going for entry level //
ОтветитьYou're missing the point.
ОтветитьI don’t want to come off as elitist because obviously I’m not. Having said all that I’ve owned a watch that probably came from Walmart. It kept time perfectly. It had what I needed: a good face, all 12 numbers etc. But the band itself was metallic and stretched and that’s all fine except I didn’t like adjusting the size. Went to macys and bought a fossil 160 dollars. Nice blue face but after a while it didn’t light up and the date had to be changed every so often. My expectations aren’t high but I’m hoping a sixty dollar watch might be a good compromise? As long as it’s not made in China. See? Not elitist. Just tired of china.
ОтветитьIn the 90s they made some noise....now its Quite.
ОтветитьSwatch feels better than any other watch on my wrist… I also just love the variety of styles. As far as quality, I’ve had one for over 15 years that still functions perfectly.
ОтветитьI would buy a Swatch for three reasons: the steel case, an automatic movement for under $100 USD, and a quirky artistic dial between sophisticated and weird.
ОтветитьSwatch watches fulfill their purpose as a second watch, no doubt about that. My problem with Swatch is that they are absolutely overpriced for what they are. I can't justify to pay CAD$130 + on a Swatch , when for the same money I can get me a G Shock or any other great quality Japanese quartz watch. Swatch has no value for the $ in my opinion.
ОтветитьI remember Swatch watches from the 80s. All the popular people in high school had one. I have a black Swatch watch with a white face. 80s design.
ОтветитьYou are meh
Ответитьgonna give it a dislike this time
ОтветитьSwatch to me is a casual watch brand you where their watches anywhere casual malls or gatherings
Ответить
