SFV - Kolin Trailer Breakdown! Special Attacks & Setups For Street Fighter 5 Season 2

Lots to memorize from kolin's command list. So much target combos and rekka commands. I love it :). Hoping that the other new season 2 characters will have this much tools to play with or more. SFV needs this!

She looks like a highly technical character. Hopefully Xian picks her up. I'm tired of seeing his talents wasted on F.A.N.G

Parabellum doesn't look like she's punching the opponent. More like turning her hands into icy blades and repeatedly stabbing the opponent with them, similar to Decapre.

the only thing cool bout her is her movelist she still l9ok blanded need better costume, rather see the other chars tho

The more info coming at on Kolin, the more hyped i get. She looks fun. I hope she gets a stage as well.

Vesper how do you do the EX with all characters I don't understand how to do the EX?

I believe Frost Touch is the move where she chops upwards with her hand. It's in the 3rd and 4thscreenshot under the move list.

If she has Gill's ice powers, I wonder who has his fire powers 🤔

My conclusions:

Frost Touch is her parry/command grab. The trailer shows her countering Urien middle and high, so you'll probably have to guess where the opponent is going to try to hit you (like Gouken's). Parabellum is Decapre's Rapid Dagger with a EX launcher version. Hailstorm is a launcher/dp that reminded me of Psylocke's Maelstrom which then drops the hail projectiles from the sky. Vanity Step and Silver Edge are the command dash and follow up punch. Also, the double jump is most likely the Icicle Stamp which is performed through a common input for jump trajectory changers (divekicks and such) so that would mean that you can also do it on a neutral jump.

Definitely excited to try her out.

@vesperarcade hey man, I think I can the confusion you have with the Frost Touch/Hailstorm projectile situation. Frost Touch has (l/m/h) variations because this is her command counter seen in the trailer.

It looks like "Frost Touch" is her parry. It has a high, medium, and low parry. Her V-Skill appears to just be her slice attack that ends some of her combos in the trailer.

Wait, so she doesn't have rekkas? Are are the rekkas her traget combos or her V-Skill?

I imagine she won't use her CA much. Looks like most of her meter will be dedicated to using her ex moves, since it looks like it gives her a lot of pressure, punishes, and followups. Her meterless damage doesn't look that great

Oh and BTW she's not a charge character THANK GOD!!! now tell me her costumes are free and I'll agree this is a good game
