Blocking the Canadian truckers from accessing their bank accounts was a crude, ham-handed approach to control compared to the fine-grained, instantaneous, individualized control they will have with the combination of CBDC, Digital IDs, and the removal of cash from the system.

As a Bitcoin holder you can not vote the miner as a staking holder can, maybe I am mistaken but do the proof of work miners not run the ledger code that give rise to all the properties like the maximum 21 milj, so would it be possible to fork in the future ? althou we have seen bitcoin cash and ethereum classic, therefore feel more at ease with proof of stake mechanisms for now.

We need a better education system. Bitcoin isn't a viable payment system. It over consumes power. It is SLOW to process. Hardly anyone accepts it because of it's volatile fluctuations. Almost all owners use it as an investment. It is nothing more than a Ponzi scheme where people try to convince you to "buy in" in order to drive up an imaginary coin.
