I would like to explain the christmas tree tradition. In cold countrys (snow, rain, cold wind) people got lung infections in winter. The tree has ethericsl oil that heals that and helps with the bad air in the home. like coughin the viruses out or the smoke from the fire place made the air dry and full of viruses. The tree helped people to breath basically. It cleaned the air in the sheds.

it is impossible to lead a varied life and a minimalist life. I do both gardening and attend gala evenings. I do two kinds of sport which require different items. I have a child. I have a husband, who has a technical hobby that requires a lot of tech gear. the three of use have different cosmetic needs and different hairstyling needs. also, my husband has has a ‘suit and tie’ job as well as need for fitness and casual clothes and shoes. we have 4 seasons in our country, so all of us need about 3 different jackets each. We need sport bags, school bags, lap top bags, cat transporters (we have cats too). we have many ‘themes’ in our lives and this means we have a lot of things.

Why always guilt? I have debts, byi plenty of nice items and am happy with it. No clutter I donate and throw away everything I don’t like. Very easy!

Minimalism is the future. It's a special mindset where one realises less really is more. It's meditation in action and leads one to a life similar to that of Eden. You've saw the wheel and broken it. Welldone!

I love her videos, living in abundance creates lots and lots of stress in life , she has changed my insight of living as a minimalist. Thanks a lot to her for my beautiful mornings which starts with her videos and get insights and inspiration about life.

In my opinion, your video and insights show the most honest and logical way of living a minimal and peaceful life. It has been unsuccessful for me trying this lifestyle before but I gained a deeper understanding of it now. Thank you for sharing these.

In regards to minimalism also being defined as essentialism i recently stumbled across the line "winners give up all the time" - on all the things but their most valued goal/s, anything not essential for fostering progress.
REALLY got me thinking and shifted my perspective ... just like your videos.

I love this so much! I bought something on Amazon today and within 5 mins had to cancel because I just sat and thought about how in 6 months (3 even) the wonder of it would wear off and it would get pushed to the back of the shelf. The money I was gonna spend on it I ended up putting in a separate account. Gonna use that money I would have spent on something more meaningful that will add to my life not something I’ll likely take to Goodwill this summer.
