Never homeless! Been on the street before big difference. The street is a transitional faze. I see young people on the street I'm like really? All the damn jobs and legal ways to make money! I got a social worker who trys to push me around. I want you to apply for disability No! She will get her teeth knocked out! The woman is stupid! I'm after $25,000 either that or a new place to live. She insults me on the phone shows up at my house unannounced. I told her go worry about your crack head clients! Leave me alone! I absolutely hate how obvious it is that this reporter has zero street smarts and absolutely no ability to relate or empathize with these kids. You can tell that the world he grew up in is completely opposite than the world these street kids are living in. I think that is the main reason this reporter shows his ignorance and projects a very disingenuous demeanor as he witnesses their terrible living situations and the way they cope/handle their situation. He asks questions that answer themselves. He speaks to these kids like they have a world of options and opportunities waiting for them. Example: These kids obviously huff glue to get high because the sober reality of their everyday lives suck, they know and dont give a shit how unhealthy it is. Yet, that is completely lost on this reporter. He can't figure out what would ever make these kids want to do something so toxic and unhealthy as huffing glue. Long story long, it's very obvious that he knows he is going home to his big house and all the comforts that these kids will never have. He makes this documentary more depressing than it already is.
