There was an Oregon Trail game in the late 90’s that I use to play and you could do lots of buying and selling. And depending on where you were, prices were different via market. Hunting was awesome and you could sell the meat.

So for me, the game just turned into how much money could I accumulate

1980's Oregon Trail it was obvious that you were going with your family. 2020's Oregon Trail you go as a group of socially isolated and awkward weirdos.
