Another thing about swords, if you are on ironman, skip the dungeon boss drop swords and just follow the cleaver line till you can grind for giant sword. Each weapon only requires floor completions, and the first one (super cleaver) has no requirements at all, so you can buy it at the start of a profile. With the final tier (Giant Cleaver, floor 6 completion, 5m cost), it has decently higher stats than an AOTD, and from my experience you can reasonably solo S+ floor 6 with tank gear and an AOTD, so there should be no reason to not be able to go from giant cleaver to giant sword if you know the floor somewhat and join parties.

Also, due to the cleave ability having amazing synergy with the berserker cone ability, you will regularly deal way more damage when attacking groups of mobs (especially with the terracotta on floor 6), so that is pretty nice.
