Because of this video and your last beginners guide I am starting my first 7 Days to Die playthrough. I been done with Minecraft, I'm pissed at The Forest Devs, Valheim/V Rising don't itch the same scratch and Green Hell is hell. Great game but it has zero chill lol. With the super simple start, you laid out in these videos I got a feeling 7 Days to Die might be just what I'm looking for.

Building next to a trader can be a great idea if you plan on using that protection for yourself using a trader island base but that requires you to dig a huge moat around the trader which takes way too long imo. Also, drones are amazing and should be recommended. By default they give more cary space which is nice but there are 2 mods (medic mod and morale mod) that make them amazing. Most of the other mods are not great or possibly worthless imo (the armor is not needed unless you are stupid and attack the drone often, and the light is mostly useless since it only brightens a small area around you which you can get better use from NVG). The medic mod will let the drone heal you and nearby friends using bangages from its inventory when you drop below a set hp (make sure you keep a decent # of first aid bangages in its inventory). The Morale mod will give you and any nearby friends faster stamina regen. You can stack multiple inventory boost mods on the same drone tho (so you could do the 2 good mods mentioned above and fill the rest of the slots with inventory mods).

The thing that really stumped me as a beginner was the zombie infection. I could not for the life of me find any honey in the stumps, and I was up to almost 30% infection when suddenly finally the trader sold me two antibios after several days of nothing. Good work on the guides also.

Can you do a NO trader run tutorial? im doing a run with no trader or vending machines etc... its INSAINE... D: it was supposed to be permadeath but we (2 players) bit off more than we can chew

Loving your guides, and appreciate your work! Question on the base foundation. Sounds like you're saying to dig a trench to half bury the bottom blocks. What's the point of that? Seems like extra work, and leaves some dips in the terrain that seems like the zombies could get stuck?

Yooo i've been watching your videos for a little while now and it's obvious that you have a lot of knowledge and experience in 7 days, and i hear you briefly mention how certain things are different on insane nightmare, and i was just wondering if you intend on doing any vidoes on an insane nightmare playthrough? I know you have that live stream available that you did a while back, but i really dont have several hours a day to watch that particular content lol. And your editing style is super clean. Was just curious, i'm sure you have 100 things on your A20 to-do list lol. Cheers

Why would you eat anything at 9:30pm its way too early. The zombies don't even get to the base right away at 10pm. I would not take anything before 10pm. And take 3 of them cause they stack.

Its clear I need to do the jobs more. My latest game was ridiculous for dropping ammo so I went into horde night with 80 762 and 40 shells. No clue why my luck was so bad.

I like to build endless loop "horde night" bases. because the AI is so easy to distract. they just like to walk around ----> fall down and like to get punched by a Robo Sledge hammer.

Definitely am going to try a horde night using your tutorials. I’m not new to the game at all, but never liked the idea of horde nights. Also, have you noticed a difficulty obtaining acid? Would like to build my chemistry table but have only found 1 acid despite being on game day 14. This includes tearing down vehicles with a ratchet and looter bonuses.

I've been having the spider zombies jumping on my ladder 4 blocks up lately.. They didn't do this in past alphas. Just a heads up!

Thanks for the guides. My big problem with Alpha 20 is finding buried loot... before we had that ever decreasing circle, but now when you "activate" the quest, the circle has been replaced by some location finder which goes to 0.1m at its nearest, but as you dig, after so many blocks it resets and you seem to have to go dig at a different location, and so on until you eventually stumble upon it. Is this the way finding buried loot works now? or am I just doing it completely wrong? and if it is this way, will any skills help locate the treasure easier?

What top is that with the hood? All the hoods ive found are terrible and clip

My comments keep getting pulled (I think for verification). What websites do you use to download mods if you don't use the mod launcher? There was one I attempted to ask about but it may be getting my comments taken down. I see that nexus mods is popular but there is another website I am having trouble fully verifying. Nexus mods doesn't appear to have all the mods available and I'm unsure if I'm able to or how to use mods from both the mod launcher and mods that I download from nexus mods or other websites. Also, how would one install and uninstall mods for modded and vanilla gameplay/ worlds? Thanks for the content.

How do you feel about a single point into daring adventure in the very early day? I feel like the pay off it really big especially during the first three days. I mean no wrong way to play but something to consider.

700 hours are I still manage to forget something during horde night.
