I ate at Antica Pizzeria Da Michele. It was really tasty. The ingredients are top notch. But I prefer a little crispier crust. It's VERY limp in the middle and a slice can't be held up without folding it. Sometimes not even then. So people eat it with a knife and fork and only pick up the slice when it gets close to the crust. But I'd still go back.

Where are the pepperonis?

I just recently got back from Italy. I was addicted to Gino’s while staying in Naples. Went for 2 days in a row for lunch and could’ve done it 3 if we had an extra day. It truly is something spectacular.

Am I the only one who thought the "managing director" at Antica Pizzeria gave off sleazy vibes? He was just a straight up salesman. I like it when they talk to the chef or the owners and you can sense their passion for the food.

As an American that was previously stationed in Italy, I think the two cultures view food in general, completely different. Both can use fresh ingredients and both can taste good, but Italians live their food. There's a story behind every tomato. Not saying one's better or worse, it's just a different life.

LOl I'd give those pizza about a 2/5 maybe decent but would not buy.Sadly pizza everywhere has become a lot worse than 50 years ago when I first began loving pizza.Fact is pizza became so poor in qualityu I stopped eating pizza for at least 10 years it was a long time.Piza shops are al lfor profits trying their best to lower quality whiel raising prices and when price gouging becomes rough they turned to the thin slice pizzas to cut costs.

Using soy oil instead of Olive oil makes no sense unless you are trying to cut corners . Soy oil is a very different type of product compared to olive oil. It is highly processed, inflammatory with no health benefits.
