Anytime I come to this place, I'm always awestruck by how magnificent it looks know the outside, and how it blows your mind with the stunning interior

Terrible episode. A little like a guided tour of London streets but showing just the pavement.

People make a "church", the Abby is a beautiful and storied building; as opposed to THE CHURCH which is the body of ALL believers and followers in the Lord Jesus!

I would have liked to see more of the Abbey and much less of these two.

I love the POTENTIAL of this, but the camera kept focusing on the guys NOT the objects! I wanted to see the Abbey and the items in it NOT THE GUYS! So it made it a disappointing video! Though the historical info of Sir D. Cannadine was nice.

wonderful video, I truly enjoyed it. The only thing is the title, there are absolutely no secrets whatsoever revealed here. It did get me to click on the video though, and I suppose that's the point.

What else goes with Church of England, Queen Elizabeth I made people pay Tax, getting people educated. Education is part of a Church of England religion. Queen Victoria asked people to play for our sports or against. Sport is in the Church of England, Australia & China are under Church of England. It has Lord god & dragon your wordly animal. Other countries are under Church of England & Jesus. Its all diversity. Each Queen made changes in Education & sport in the country & across the world. Haigh Hall King Robert II followed King Arthur & merlin traditional. Their is 20 Kings & Queens from King Robert II to King Charles, 29 Lord Crawfords married 14 Royal connections from Scotland & down south. Merlin was dragon Lord from his father, looked after King Arthur & his throne. The only things remaining is from merlin is his book's. Were they used Merlins remedies & medicine book's. King Henry 8th used Merlins magic, Queen Elizabeth I followed traditional. Merlin is mentioned in Harry Potter series. I have read thing's yes different Kings & Queens change things for the country. You will asking when they brought Education & sport. That was Queen Elizabeth I & Queen Victoria. Queen Elizabeth II was around to finally watch Rugby league go Super Rugby league.

I heard a number of times that it was a Catholic abbey. Much of the abbey was also originally made by a Catholic.

I watched this program a month or so, before actually visiting. It’s very surreal when you are actually there, seeing and experiencing all these two great historians were talking about. Just marvelous!

The most satisfying aspect of Westminster Abbey is - Sadiq Khan will NEVER be buried there he's Muslim.

It’d been nice if the cameraman spent more time covering the tombs, shrines and monuments than on narrators.

I would like to thank Prince Andrew, he is the only Royal that takes the time to bow to the tomb of the unknown soldier. I noticed he did it when attending his mother's funeral, then he did it again when attending the Coronation. He doesn't do it for show, he quietly bows when he reaches the tomb and walks on. Thank you sir, your time in the Navy must mean a lot to you, as your father's did for him. I do not agree with certain of your friends. But that has no matter with your manners.

When speaking of Mary I and Elizabeth I, the difference was Elizabeth was tolerant of Catholics, while Mary was not at all tolerant of Protestants?
It is what I have discerned after many years of reading on the Monarchy.

That window honoring Queen Elizabeth II looks horrid!! A child could do that! There's no way something so amateurish should be installed in Westminster Abby.
It's sad that the abbey started out as a monument to The Living God and became a monument to dead humans.

This two gentlemen have a great conversation but the camera is not showing enough the things they are talking about. Frustrating.

I got to finally go to westminister when I was visiting my mum. Standing in the center and looking up makes you feel so small but also in awe in being surrounded by so much history.

I can relate to Dan's urge to want to open up the tombs of the monarchs and examine the bones! Sounds ghoulish of course but it has some weird archaeological appeal I suppose. Even though the monarchs were primarily the luck of blood lineage of one degree or another, and many of whom were scoundrels, there is still an amazing mystique to them. The most appealing of all however is the incredible abbey. Thank God it survived the nazis in WW2.
