We holiday in Plettenberg Bay and tackle the challenging Point Circuit Trail in the Robberg Nature Reserve. This 9km hike is not for the faint of heart, and small children should avoid being dragged along - which may be the case as our legs were jelly afterwards. Yet, without pain, there would be no gain in witnessing such interesting sites of jagged rocks, lush hills and smelly seals. If this is too great of a challenge, there are shorter circuit trails being the 2.1km Gap Circuit and 5.5km Witsand Circuit.

Brief History of Robberg Nature Reserve:
This National Monument is home to some of the oldest rocks in the world as well as a vast population of seals. The number of seals in this location is the reason for its renaming in the 17th century to Robberg (Seal Mountain)
