Serene and soul satisfying describes both Singapore — which I would love to visit someday, after seeing their breathtaking architecture and sparkling cleanliness — and its modest gem of a restaurant, Zén. The three levels of the meal, from appetizers at the bottom to the mains one floor up and finally to the topmost cozy hideaway for dessert, are like slowly ascending to heaven itself. The food does the heavenly metaphor justice.

If Plénitude is to live, then Zén is to dissolve into the heavens.

And here I am sitting and watching the channel while eating a plate of rice with and fried eeg😢

I love how such a simple thing (such as ringing the doorbell instead of just walking in) can make such a difference in setting the tone for the evening. @alexandertheguest you went all the way to Asia and ate at a European-style restaurant run by a European chef? It’s the local eats and, aromas and flavours that deserve the spotlight. So much to try in Asia it’ll blow your mind.

Food are good, but the decoration and tableware are too common. I also don't like to change the table so many times to finish the whole dining.

This is a lot of food compared to other restaurants. Amazing value imo.

When going to a restaurant called 'zen' I wouldn't expect Stronger by Kanye West to be playing half blast idk about you 🤣

Thank you for your informative video, I am glad you give us a view of the inside arrangement of these restaurants. The service on this one seemed great but I wouldn't personally enjoy changing rooms for a different experience and unfortunately using stairs would be a problem with some of my family members. I am looking forward to even more of your content.

This kind of menu you can see at any the high-end restaurant but Zen' given you a whole package from entrance music to food on the table, most importantly is the true chemistry from chef, servers...in general, I say people that made it different. This guy Alex is one of the fantastic culinary judge.
