Hey guys, I wanted to address this as it has been bought up in the comments several times regarding the difficulty, and I agree…the settings here were too easy. This wasn’t my intention.
As a new player, I wanted a solid “Project Zomboid” experience, but not so difficult that I could not learn the game's mechanics.
As I am sure you are all aware, there were no traditional difficulty settings. On first impression, Apocalypse sounded like murder, Survival slightly less so, and Builder sounded too easy.
In the end, I selected “Custom Game,” left everything on default, changed rear vulnerability to low, and checked weapon multi-hit. I chose these as they were recommended by a Reddit post and jumped in.
On a positive note, this playthrough taught me a great deal about game mechanics. Rest assured, I will be doing another playthrough where I increase the zombie count substantially.
On the negative side, some of this was a little disappointing. Especially when the house alarm went off, and literally one zombie came over. Or when I barricaded both my bases and never needed it once…*mental note* the default custom game settings are far too easy.
Thanks for all the positive comments and advice thus far!
hey man - <3 before famous - love from czech republic
ОтветитьMake more videos like this. It was highly entertaining.
ОтветитьThat first bite was SUS as hell.
ОтветитьThis is maybe 10 months too late but you can read books while watching TV to skill both at the same time 🕰️
ОтветитьTowing cars has always been a feature
ОтветитьSuggestion, don't Spawn in West Point if you're new, especially if you have a higher population than normal, otherwise, you might end up like me, running for my life from the entire town, knowing the shotgun I found ain't enough to keep me safe when I'm a Fireman with no experience shooting.
ОтветитьAre you the voice from the Halo 3 monument ad?
Ответить"I hastily wrapped my bloody groin"
Ответитьdude how, my first time I ran away from one zombie even though I had a nightstick a pan and a loaded pistol and tripped over a horde. (summery: survived 2 hours killed 0 zombies)
Ответитьbite to the groin
Ответитьholy shit your why there are crazy long tutorials
ОтветитьIn my 250h on this game I have not discovered the fact that you can place/pour out sand and gravel...I am really impressed that this is your first time I have to admit
ОтветитьI love these videos :D
ОтветитьDude spawned with a backpack on his first run lol 😆
ОтветитьI feel like I'm watching a mix between a documentary and a comical satire on the game itself. Good idiolect.
ОтветитьIt was so beautiful to see this your first interaction in the zombieworld now you need to play cdda blind just started up you won't survive
ОтветитьFirst time playing it I'm wondering where do i get a bandage or so looting a house to find a bandage in the bathroom, but damn after i watched some vids, i realized that the fvckng sheets are everywhere!!!
ОтветитьI survived for 12 hours in my first game. You did really really well. Great work

Ответитьaccidentally pressing Q
Ответитьfrostpunks brother... nice
ОтветитьAh good ol' "i wish i could tow a car", reminds me of my first time playing, took me a good while to find the vehicle menu (press V near a vehicle) with which you can totally tow cars.
Not a car nut by any mean but now after playing a couple hundred hours i love repairing and maintaining my cars in this game.
Nice video and an absolutely amazing first time you had there!
bro your incredible as a newbie my first 5 games didnt even make it over 2 days, your voice is calming as a newbie you deserve no backlash for using easy settings
ОтветитьFun fact, you can tow in the game
ОтветитьTry making spears.
ОтветитьThis a story of a man named Stanley
ОтветитьIf you head to the bottom right from the fenced home on your 2nd spawn, then to the northeast on the road, follow it then head up to the top left and follow the dirt path and you will find a farmhouse, it has plenty of space, multiple buildings including a shed and barn, and a large fenced area for farming. It’s secluded too, so zombies won’t bother you. However, there’s a lot of zombies on the road, and it’s far from any loot, so you will need a car.
Ответитьpick one negative trait -> takes the worst possible trait :D
ОтветитьGood video for beginners
ОтветитьIn project zomboid, you are ALWAYS on the brink of disaster!
ОтветитьBaseball bat nah hamma😂
ОтветитьThat chopper left me running for days. It was early and it didnt stop. Each safehouse gave me couple minutes of rest. Untill my car broke down and I was forced to run in the woods. I kept going going untill I couldnt and started fighting. I killed and killed and was prepared for the hundreds of zombies but after killing 7 zeds there were no more. The chopper was above me while I survived on larva, worms and evolved to stone age. After weeks in nature and the chopper still above me I risked it and went back to my car. Each time if there were zombies they come, it was like a alarm that didnt stopped.
Best game ever and turning the chopper always is the way to go if u seek hardcore survival. U could mute the chopper sound and imagine that zombies can smell u instead hearing the chopper.
What the music in the start of the first survival called?
ОтветитьI love his first gameplay!! it was like mine XD
Ответить"Bitten in the groin" not a way to go ... XD its so funny
Ответитьi still remeber how i died in the first run
stepped on broken glass, ran from zombies, that's it
I just started playing last weekend. 7 lives later I am now in the exact position you're in minus the garden. I'm in that warehouse but have 2 generators and all of the kitchen gear from the restaurant on the north end of town. I'll be getting wood from the lumberyand to the west for a fence project.
Love this game.
I'm also playing realtime so the days go by slowly unless I sped the time up.
Gotta say your second spawn was really good, that house just needed a gate and it was secured
ОтветитьThe one thing which will increase you chance of survival the most is having a gun - they can't bite you if they can't get near you.
ОтветитьSpawning in Muldraw priorities:1. Find sledgehammer 2. Head to Police station and break into armoury 3. find and fortify a base 4. spend ~100 days fortifying and gathering supplies at base 5. once base is fully formed and town has been emptied of supplies, travel to neighbouring town, rinse and repeat. My longest streak surviving was about 1900ish days. Dying was a releif; I died from jumping out a window by mistake xD
ОтветитьI have seen some bullshit and sheer utter bad luck on this game. From having one hundred percent bite protection on all areas and STILL having a "bitten" area on your health to tripping and being mauled to death by an angry group of black Friday shoppers.
Or opening the door to a small bathroom only to be steam trained by the entire zombie population of Kentucky.
But being bitten twice on the bollocks on the first and second lives is nearly as cursed as finding out your cup of tea has stewed because you left it too long and you also put too much milk in it.
