the gopnik supreme kept me alive in college. Eggs, potato, and onion were my go to meal. I gotta go to the shops and get some potatoes now.

This is literally eating better than I do. I'm not completely broke, I'm just depressed.
I eat maybe a pack of noodles, some form of protein and some seasoning at like 3pm, and then something with a lot of calories at like 9pm.
Sometimes I buy apples as to not get scurvy-

If I don't eat noodles, I eat cold pea soup. Or if I have bread, then that with a slice of cheese.

Tex-Mex version, of the egg-potato-sausage scramble:

- Make the sausage a "jalapeno-cheddar" sausage, or chorizo
- Add pickled jalapenos
- Add onions (cooked AND raw: makes it feels like two different things!)
- Smoky hot sauce

- Cheese, or sometimes a little yogurt, if I had it.

You might say that the extra ingredients are too fancy, when you are really broke, but I lived on this every morning, and my dinner was black beans & tomato-rice (sometimes with an egg), each night, for like...a decade. I never felt deprived, or "on a diet", or anything like that, while eating far less meat than some people do.

If I was feeling very fancy, maybe I'd get an avocado (this is MUCH cheaper, in Texas, than in some parts of the world). Usually, I'd be lucky if I only had some fresh tomato.

Spices MATTER, but that could be as simple as a chili-powder blend, or just a good hot sauce.

It's 3000 thousands. If it's just for food at home it's a hundred a day. Buckwheat in Bristol is now 45, cheap pasta at pyatetochka is 16, bread 16. To 'survive' you nead a third of that. Three thousand means considerable amount of vegetables and meat. It's fine, if you can cook.

I suggest a sack of rice the 50 kilo ones that will make your hunger at bay. And some of the tomato or some eggs. And if you can buy meat and some onions and make some sausages and dont forget the sausage wrapper (pig intestines or plastic ones) or straight up fry the meat with salt.
