can it crash into something while active tracking? For instance does it go sideways or up or down where there are no sensors?

I was flying my drone sideways and it hit a tree. Is the obstacle avoidance only from what the camera sees? Or does it detect obstacles behind it?

WARNING TO ANYONE PURCHASING THE MAVIC AIR 2 for APAS 3.0 - Active Track, Focus Track, POINT OF INTEREST FLYING - will only work at frame rates of 30FPS or Lower at any resolution setting. The DJI Fly App will not allow APAS 3.0 - select target until you set your frame rate to 30FPS or lower. It's a real problem considering these automated tracking modes are primarily used by many for tracking moving subjects. DJI need to publish this in their User manuals.

I can’t access active track. Am I on the wrong camera settings possibly. I try to draw a box around myself and nothing happens so any recommendations Ian.

Does the controller get battery from android phones? like mavic pro did it was an issue when I had my mavic pro

Hey Ian bit of help please mate I eventually got my 1st flight and wow what a fantastic drone, flew fantastic and I got some nice 4k30 footage I then downloaded to my phone a Huawei P30 Pro now everytime I open the gallery in the DJI Fly app it crashes I can't even get into the gallery to delete the footage it crashes within a second, don't know what to do 🤷‍♂️

when i slide to try and bring up active track, it doesnt seem to work. I shoot in 60fps, is that the reason why?

Good practical VID me being Mr picky... When you were fly over the fields I noticed some micro jumping in the footage but you garden shots spot on was it due to the distance and did you have you patch lead connected

Hi Ian, when you do your next MA2 video could you possibly confirm if it's only the Asteroid quick shot that is limited to 1080p only or if it's 'all' quick-shots?

Could you do a range test? DJI claimed 2000m for the mini but in real life was 300m with the UK version. Wondering what the real range of the Air 2 is. Thanks.

Wow that's awesome video love the stability of it in flight i know sometimes wind can be strong here. I've been talking to my wife regarding that i would love to do this as a hobby but she recommends maybe i get a cheaper drone just to see how i get on with it. Hi Ian, great video. Really want to upgrade to this but a bit worried about the lack of ADS-B and whether it makes more sense to buy a US model. Also, my Parrot has a feature where if it loses its signal it returns to the take off coordinates, does this have a similar system?
