What a crap driver, speeding in the dark .. How could you not see a truck? Must have been nodding off, or maybe drunk?

8 car crashes? Obviously the truck manufacturers didn't need to be mandated to put those crash bars on the trailers costing millions. Jeez, I hope this wasn't the start of idiot laws like we have now like people filing lawsuits because they can't hold a cup of hot coffee without spilling it on themselves.

There was no fog and conditions were clear. Please get the facts right

There is no evidence that there was any form of fog or spray in the air. The investigation found there was clear air at the time of the crash and eyewitness evidence indicated that the car was travelling at high speed.

The insecticide truck was not actually being used that night. Unlike what the newspaper reported.

Pretty sure the story about the mosquito spray fog was disproven. It’s unknown why the driver did not see the truck.

There was a super fog in Orleans last night zero visibility this is exactly why the car crash happened that took the life of Jane mansfield.

Started tearing alwats pull over your life is way more important then anything. Very Sad.

Her airbags didn't help.

The police report on Jayne Mansfield's car accident clearly states there was no truck spraying insecticide occuring that night. The tractor trailer that Ronnie Harrison (the driver) slammed into the back had either slowed down because a truck in front of him was driving very slowly. The very first truck which was smaller than the tractor trailer behind insisted he had turned off the mosquito sprayers quite awhile before the accident.
The 1966 Buick Electra that was involved in the car accident had belong to Gus Steven's who was the owner of the nightclub where Jayne performed her last show.
Jayne and her boyfriend Sam Brody (who was married to someone else at the time of the accident) had tried to rent a limousine or Rolls Royce for either a TV or radio interview the following morning in Slidell,La but couldn't
get either car due to bad credit on both parties.The denial of a car had put Jayne in a very tight spot for transportation to Slidell,La.
Samuel (Sam) Brody had borrowed approximately
$ 250,000 from the mob in order to buy Jayne fine jewelry and other items but was having a hard time paying back the money he borrowed and most likely incurred a bad credit score.
Unfortunately, for Sam the mob threatened him to pay up or else. Jayne heard about the money issues that Sam was having and agreed to help Sam pay off the loan from the mob by singing and performing monologues in some really run down nightclub's.
Gus had heard about Jayne and Sam not a ride to Slidell and offered to loan Jayne and Sam his 1966 Buick (later it was noted that Mrs.Steven's wasn't keen on the idea)
then he asked Ronnie Harrison to drive the couple into Slidell.
Ronnie's girlfriend was Gus Stevens and she was pregnant with Ronnie's baby girl.
Ronnie was in no shape to drive Jayne because of lack of sleep and was under lot's of stress with the upcoming elopement with his girlfriend and their baby daughter who was due to arrive ina couple of months.
The 3 adults (,Sam, Jayne, Ronnie) plus Jayne's 3 children ( Zoltan,Miklos, Mariska) got into the car. Now that everybody was in the car Ronnie started driving down the road at more than a safe speed in the dark.
The original seating positions in the car were Ronnie was seated in the driver's left side side with Jayne seated in the middle with at least one child and 2 Chihuahua's on her lap and Sam was on the right passenger side.
The group stopped briefly at a little store/diner to use the bathroom and buy some snacks and cokes.
The group got back into the car and this time Jayne switch seat's with Sam who was now in the middle and Jayne put one of her children in the back seat of the car so they could sleep. Once Jayne did all that she then got into the passenger right seat along with her two little dog's.
Ronnie the driver took off at a high rate of speed down the dark and winding road at speed's reaching 70 to
80 mph.The driver was driving fast because he wanted to get there fast, Sam may have become inpatient and forced Ronnie to drive even faster.
Ronnie couldn't have known that two trucks in front of him were driving much slower than he was and poor Ronnie didn't see the truck and slammed into the back of the truck with such force the car went under the bottom of the truck and causing the roof to shear straight back like an accordion !!!
Ron, Sam, and Jayne were killed instantaneously along with her two cute little Chihuahua's !!!!
All 3 front passengers were scalped (severe trauma to the head along with multiple fractures and cut's and laceration's all their bodies. Ronnie,Sam, and Jayne may have seen what was happening but it was all over quickly and didn't suffer.
The news media jumped on the story that Jayne had been decapitated because a photo does exist of a blonde batch of hair caught in the windshield
Jayne had a habit of wearing wigs and that is what the viewer's of the photo are seeing not her head.
Most likely Sam and Ronnie received the same injuries as Jayne.I haven't seen to many photos of Ronnie and Sam after the crash nor have I seen any autopsy or accident reports on all three victim's.
The three children in the back seat (Zoltan, Miklos, Mariska) received moderate injuries and I believe one of the boy's broke his arm.
The whole scenario of this terrible and violent accident with Jayne's children losing their mother has been a true terror to their psyche and I do hope they got the physical and emotional help they so desperately needed at the time.
Jayne was making a lot of bad choices later in her life by either joining or just hanging out at the Church of Satan which was facilitated by Anton LeVey a well known Satanist Cult Leader located at one time in the
San Francisco Bay Area.The story behind what may have caused the crash is an interesting one and who knows if curse's come true.
Anton had placed a cursed on Sam because he would mess up his satanic altar and cause other problems for Anton.
The story that has been told many times is Anton was so mad at Sam Brody that he grabbed a magazine and tore some of the pictures up.
Little did Anton know was Jayne's picture was on the back and Anton had torn the picture in half near her throat area ☹️
Anton threatened Sam that he would be dead in one year but I can't remember if it would be by a car accident or something else.
I personally think Anton was having a temper tantrum and yet because he embraced the dark side who knows what powers that Anton LeVey truly possess.
I was further heartbroken when a report stated that Jayne's blood alcohol level was .014 along with some barbiturates in her system but I'm not sure how much. Upon further reading I heard that Jayne was an alcoholic, taking pills to sleep,diet pills, and last but not least
Jayne hadn't had any good film roles being offered, and the threat of being destitute was also right around the corner.
I would be absolutely terrified to have a bad aura or worse yet a curse placed upon me.

at the wheel of the car he was drivin.

There was No insecticide fog, that's a myth! The driver was 19 years old and all reports say driving at 70 to 80 mph! The 19 year old driver didn't even have a license to drive a car. I driven that stretch of highway, and long and flat. I have a question, and I can't find the answer. Was the red running lights, working on the back of the truck, if not, that would explain not seeing it, until it was too late!

The mosquito truck was NOT spraying.
