I think the quality throughout looks utter crap, especially for FORTY K!! I’ve seen similar build quality in a VW Polo which is LITERALLY half the price.

I just got a 35 S line and mine makes weird noises with the brakes. I don't give a shit though, the car is otherwise brilliant, never thought I'd be an electric convert, but consider me converterised

You don't need to read the weather forecast there - just assume rain as it seems like that's the case ~75% of the time - what a miserable place to live (weatherwise)...

I dont think it does look better than the ID4 its certainly nicer on the inside but from the outside im unsure and its definitely not nicer than the ID5

Fifty grand! How long before you have to spend 10 grand or whatever before the batteries need replacing? 3 years? 4 years? My iPhone battery is useless after 3 years of constant use, im guessing these would be too. Until I can just spunk 50 grand on a gamble, I will stick to my trusty Q2 diesel which returns 60mpg without an issue and costs less than half this thing. Looks great, doesn't make financial sense.

Have a q4. Breaks are embarrassing.

I suppose car manufacturers say "who is this non-graduate annoying reviewer" think of the many doctor engineers in Germany and elsewhere that it took to design and make these cars only for a guy like you to cut the car to pieces.

You take the desire out of forking out huge cash to buy cars. You point out design and functional mistakes and surprisingly there are so many. We have retrograded because in the 1970s we had big Cadillacs and you could sit an entire family in the front seat, no bucket seats. In the end I got the XC40. The seat was very uncomfortable for me giving me back ache but over a year I got used to it. Other than that it is the best car out there and I enjoy driving it so much. There are things with it like the orange engine light can mysteriously go on but it is of no consequences, and after 32k miles sometimes the engine feels revved but these are only minor things.

Real evidence of cost cutting. Drum brakes? That’s a huge no for me. Also, on a car this expensive it’s disgraceful that you can still see the bare metal around the windows in the interior. Like you can on a Polo.

Typical Audi, you’ve got to pay for all the safety features that come as standard on most cars now, definitely do on the Kia Nero!! So for that reason I’m out. BMW and AUDI need to understand that they could sell more if they weren’t sooooooo greedy!!! wouldn’t buy one for that reason!!

OK. New owner in the US (not American so don’t do the dumb American jokes). Real question, though. I also have a Tiguan which gets the same miles on a tank as my etron gets on a full charge. Why do they say that I’ve got 100mpg equivalent for the Audi when it’s literally the same shit as my VW and it runs out of miles at the same rate?

what is under the hood? I have seen many reviews of Q4 e-tron, and no one opened the hood.

Got one. Don't recommend. Serious bugs (sometimes won't start) such as Bluetooth connection Android, no favorites radio station and Audi app doesn't work half of the time.

Terrible on winter conditions.

The no start is the serious one. Audi says no fix. Why own this thing....
