One of key things missing is how do you actually use this custom map so Google can help you navigate to the destinations following the route you have created ? there doesn't seem to be any way to do this. So these maps are just good to look at but can't use for real world navigation with google maps.

Great video but I’ve one question after that I can’t seem to get an answer to, after generating your routes with different layers and saving it how do you start actually navigating it on your mobile device?

The only thing I don't like about "My Maps" is it won't give you a search bar to search for the information you loaded into your custom maps, you have to rely on the pin drops, especially in the phone app.

Will these locations be displayed on google maps? Like when we search on google map.
