What type of dileolog are we going the other MK fighters and maybe do you guy's think the Guest Fighter will apper in the final chapter the story mode too

The Geras ending is funny because Liu Kang still has the line "You must return to your timeline. May we one day meet again." that he uses with every other character. Geras doesn't have a timeline, and of course he's going to see him again.

Can you actually play a character version from an early mortal Kombat? Say if I wanna play Raiden, can I play, say, the Mortal Kombat 11 version?

I love how it’s up for interpretation if the player character is from Titan Liu Kang’s timeline, or a different timeline entirely.

I wonder if the characters with the normal skins are the ones from the current timeline or a titan variant of them

I like their dedication to the timeline archetype.

Most things that dabble in "timeline nonsense", they make hard constants without reason or never explore the recesses of possibility. In Lui Kang's timeline, Shang Tsung is a huckster, hardly good but nowhere where he was as a villain, and there's suggestion that if applied correctly, there is a level of redemption of the character possible, and it was more the designed difficulty towards their situation that pushed them to taking "Damashi's" bargain. If you had to sell fake remedies to survive, you would be atleast tempted when someone tells you that you could have way more power than someone selling snake-oil in a cart. Same with Shao; his worst elements were brought out through manipulation, and looking at his backstory and looking at the stories of his father, there could be some nobility there.

Now lets flip the script; Bi-Han. We know his history, he's killed and then is revived into the evil being noob saibot, but in this take its a similar story. Bi-Han wasn't the more noble subzero we've seen in the past, he's embittered through his lot in life, being a servant for his entire life. That perception twists his world view, and we see him become, not noob saibot but, none the less an brutal and selfish leader who demands others come to heel.

Overall, the line of morality isn't something set in stone, and is instead variable. Shades of grey. Even Havik's beliefs are not clear-cut. Yes, chaos sounds bad, but so is complete control, and the Havik we see climb the steps and defeat Titan Shang Tsung could be a havik that genuinely fought a tyrannical regime. We don't know, and we won't know, but just from the exploration of the concepts above, these things stand implied. Shao could have been a sickly kid, who grew up strong and then into the guise of a strong leader. Shang Tsung could have been one good day away from throwing away the scams, and learning to make proper medicine. THAT'S how infinite timelines should work. Not just folks becoming more or less important, but more folks choosing to be more or less important.

So what is the best choice for this ending

Seeing Shao and Shang Tsung be working together with Liu Kang is something I need more in my Mortal Kombat games.

My headcannon is that Titan kitana helped Lui Kang at the top, that makes Titan Shang Tsung and Titan Quan Chi losing more believable.

Otherwise some rando defeating the deadliest alliance is way too unbelievable
