I'd rather go for the 4060 ti if the 4060 isn't too cheap just 40w extra and can be done within 250w and a 500-550w of power supply is enough.
But here it's a $120 difference

I think I'll go with the 4060.
because it only requires 115 watts of power.
paired with i5 12400F / R5 5600 / R5 7500F . (limited with power limit)
will be a power efficient PC 😎 (gaming PC under 200watt )

RTX 4060 is the best 50 series card ever launched, if only it was called 4050 or 4050 Ti and costed the same of an GTX 1050/1050 Ti (even with wathever inflation increase...) , as optimistic naming as calling RX 7600 the 6500XT successor...

For real people you expect a generational leap of double the performance by comparing same ''50'' or ''60'' or whatever class gpu? This should not be a 4050 gpu. It is good as a 60 gpu. 4060 is equivalent with 3060 ti in ''some'' games and it easily beats the 3060 when it is not about a scenario that needs huge vram amount. 4060 is close to doubling the perf of the 3050 with the same or even less power consumption. I don't find a particular reason hating this card. Both cards are good for what they are and they satisfy a big variety of people. Stop hating

A 4060 is not the best. A 4070 is quite a bit better. But eventhough it's not the top card, it's still really good compared to a tone of other cards. It's leagues better then my old RX580.
