Baldur's Gate 3 Warlock Build Guide - Early Game Warlock Builds

When creating these what do we do with the Stat points? anything adjusted in Charisma?

Warlocks are one of the best 2-3 level splash classes in the game. If we ever get a subclass expansion with Hexblade, it's by far the single best multi class tool.

I got a level 5 fiend warlock now and I don't have the second target option for eldritch blast

Early game, taking your first level in sorcerer (storm is best here) than going to level 11 with warlock gives you 2 level 1 spell slots for shield and constitution save proficiency.

Helpful, but i don't understand why everything is out of order or you don't cover all the choices per upgrade. It's madness, and also doesn't seem to be following your wiki builds either.

I was stuck at Moonlight tower first floor fight, that control build single handedly handed me victory. Thank you.

I hope they bring in notable D&D fan builds such as Bloodhunter, later with updates.

Is necrotic warlock not a good build? I have seen one video about it, but the comments said there is a lot of misinformation in the video. I have never played BG so I am asking as a novice.

Having 16 charisma when you do absolutelly all with it it's criminal, should aim for 20 but at least get 18, having 16 with gret weapon master is too low

Questions: Using Hex into dexterity(enemy) then eldrich blast will negate armor?
What about Hellish Rebuque, is it worth it? With it you can attack on the enemy's turn, dos it scale each level?

He might not like multiclassing into it, but a 2-3 level dip is awesome. You can get an invisible flying scout, a cantrip that can be boosted by ability score and another wacky perk, plus 2 spell slots that can be used by your other classes.

What background should I take if i am using the Fiend fire build?

You made an error on the second build. You said Devil Sight only works in Darkness, not dark places. I can confirm using a Dragonborn, after taking Devil Sight, I have 24m Darkvision as well.

I noticed the Warlock builds on the site are still showing the EA versions.

The Golden Wyrmling Staff from the Goblin sanctum vendor near priestess Gut should be mandatory equipment for the Pyro Warlock build early. It adds the Fire Bolt cantrip to your build.

Warbard. Bg3 works an S rank class RIGHT with VM, Spellslots, 3 rests, annnnnnnd skills. Gg

Scorching ray is not available at lvl 3 for me. But I heard shatter is a great offensive spell too.

Shouldn't devil sight let us see both in dark and magical darkness?

The deepened pact for my imp only allows him to attack twice in the very first round of a battle and that’s it. I have to summon another imp for it to work again and then it only works on the first round of a fight again. It does NOT attack twice every turn. Does anyone know if this is intended or a bug?

Do the pack of the tome spells upcast like the other spells when you lvl up?

You can attack into or out of darkness with Devils Sight, and the game doesn't know how to handle it. Even on tactician difficulty, ranged enemies won't enter darkness of their own free will, they'll just pace back and forth each turn not taking actions if no enemies are outside the darkness.

I've found that Githyanki, Human, and Half Elf are pretty good for Melee Warlock. Githyanki start with medium proficiency so you don't need to multiclass or waste a feat for it while Humans and Half Elves start with shield proficiency.

I found a weapon in the under dark . Bought off a merchant by the shrooms. Call The Baneful. Gives a bunch of bonuses to bound weapon. Shit is dope.

Are we going to need to wait for the max level builds to get the text based breakdowns that are usually linked to on the main website? I know these don’t go very high, but I like being able to just bookmark the page and pull it up as I go 😅

Does Fiendish Vigour really stack with Dark Ones Blessing? AS I recall you can only have one source of temporary hitpoints.

Ok sorry, but what? Warlock in 5e is one of the best to multiclass with and I don't see how that is any different in BG3. Low level spell, when used well, can be OP as heck.

I Heard a thing: If you dip one level Wizard, you can learn spells from any level. That would be sick for a Warlocks as far as spell diversity.

Can't you cast darkness on yourself? So it follows your character?

Unless they changed it since release, Armor of Agathys wears off when you lose the temporary HP, not until long rest like the description says. I took this on my warlock at creation, used it once, then ditched it at first level up. The temp HP did save my life, but the spell wore off and didn't damage enemies anymore.

For the melee warlock build, if I'm not mistaken, Drow and Half-Drow get Darkness as a racial ability, which could free up a spell slot or give an extra use of Darkness.

I really need a sorcerer build, late game. I'm in the city of Baldurs Gate and feel like I haven't put together my Sorc that well.

BG3 doesn't seem to have implemented Warlock multiclassing right which kinda kills Sorlock
