If I was the Pats GM. I would take Marvin Harrisson jr. This will cause a run on WR getting taken. Cards, Bolts, maybe Giants. Vikes, Broncos take May and Mcarthy. Penix or Nix get taken by the Raiders... you have the 34th pick. You will have a high probability of getting both. You pick a QB first... you miss the point. There is better value with Harrison, than with any other QB not named Caleb, or Jayden.

Move up for the 2nd pick if not stay at 11 and 23. Get a QB that sits for a year and a starter at the defensive line or cornerback. The team has 100+ million cap space to build out team next year or Go get Justin Herbert lol

When are the Vikings going to start looking for cornerbacks in free agency? That's been a major weakness of ours for a long time and it would be nice to get some starts in there that can lock someone down

Pats are not getting 3 1st round picks. They'll take 11, 23 and give the Vikings a 3rd pick and LIKE IT!

How do you not know the plan? Its as obvious as it can be. Get rid of Kirks massive cap hit, reallocate that money into the defense. Draft a rookie QB coming into one of the best offenses in the league for a rookie to be in and hopefully have a well enough rounded defense in a few years with the money saved from Kirks contract. Not hard to understand.

The vikings are the only team at this time to give up 2 first round pick to move up at number 3. For the Pats getting pick 11 & pick 23 is enough to do the trade. Pick 3 is not worth 4 picks to give up. If the pats don't take then i would trade to the chargers and if McCarthy is there i would take the pick.

Interesting situation. The Vikings could move up with basically three firsts. The question becomes who would fall to the Vikings at 11? If the Vikings feel their guy would be gone by then, they will trade up and pay the price. Niners did it a couple of years ago and drafted Trey Lance. Look at how that worked out. Vikings should be able to get JJ, Nix, or Penix at 11. If I was the Chargers, I would trade back for two firsts.

Kwesi was in SF when they moved up for Trey Lance. I just don't see him making that mistake, maybe just take the QB that falls too #11?

So I worked at ESPN before and now I work for another company that covers sports. I can say this is them doing all talk. Because in reality they know what everyone genuine with sports knowledge snows. Do you take the shot on the quarterback, because if they work out you're good everything else settles in after.

Seems more likely that the Chargers trade down with the Vikings since they have Herbert. Also some reports have the Giants taking a QB, so the Vikings can leap frog the Giants and take their guy.

The Vikings most likely nosed around this past month and talked with potential trade partners to get a picture of what it would take to move up. I am guessing that at least one potential partner in the top 4 or 5 picks said two first rounders this year to make the deal.

All the media want to happen is 4+ QBs taken in the 1st round so they have their storylines for the next 4yrs. And if a QB slides down the board, again, the media will scrutinise. The NFL is scripted. They are begging for their overhyped love child Caleb Williams to go #1 so they can be ruthless on the Bears

Putting a QB behind a bad offensive line with mediocre weapons to throw to is the surest way to ruin a young QB. Some QBs are able to maintain their confidence but many never regain it e.g. Mac Jones.

Here is the PROBLEM with this years draft . If all of the top 4 teams stay put in there order & the Chargers do NOT trade with the Broncos or Raiders , who need a QB . The Giants at NO # 6 , still do need a QB ! So that could still be 4 teams taken a QB before the 11th draft pick ? And still have the problem of the Broncos or Raiders trading into the 7 - 10 draft picks area ?
