Not historically accurate. Check her namesake's performance (Natalie Dormer in 'The Tudors') to get a very good idea about Anne Boleyn's remarkable disposition and dignity in her last moments in this Earth. I will agree, though, that Portman's performance is moving.

Some things to note: Anne Boleyn was very collected and bold at the beheading, she did not cry but gave a short speech and the executioner pretended not to have his sword so she wouldn’t know when it was coming, also a lot of people were crying at the execution, not Anne though

Anna bola pred popravou pokojná, neplakala ani sa nechvela. Predniesla pamätnú reč, ktorá vošla do dejín. Toto dosť chýba v tomto spracovaní. Kat tesne pred úderom zvolal, nech mu donesú meč. Dokonca si vyzul topánky a obišiel ju, aby vôbec netušila, kde sa nachádza. Anna sa otočila za hlasom a úder prišiel zboku, nie zozadu. Nemala šancu vidieť nič,mala zaviazane oči,čo torz chýbalo v tomto spracovaní. Chýba aj silná scéna uloženia do "truhly" keďže ani tu jej nezaobstarali bola nedôstojne uložená do debny od šípov a v nej pochovaná vedľa svojho brata a mužov ktorí zomreli dva dni pred ňou. Ukladali ju hej dámy, ktoré k nej nepustili nijakého muža, aby sa už nijaký muž nedotýkal jej tela.
Mary absolútne nebola prítomná pri popravach svojich súrodencov, keďže kvôli svojmu nízkemu sobášu bola odohnana od dvora . A už vôbec by nemala možnosť o niečo Henricha VIII žiadať, keďže ten d nou už nebol v kontakte od chvíle, čo s ňou skončil milenecký pomer.
Áno, film je robený kvôli sledovanosti, ale toto sú podstatne historické fakty.
