I love her interpretation... the best in my view!!!! ❤ very tasteful!!! And it has got a personality too!!! This music should take you high flying above the steppes... and it is not easy to move a whole world up through music... but in this case the miracle really happens

Just like the audience, I wouldn't care if I was committing a faux pas by clapping in between movements. The first movement was a glittering interpretation and deserves applause. I'm playing along w/ her recording to play this in the tutti cello section in few weeks. 😊

I'm always astounded at how much creativity it takes for these composers to write these beautiful pieces, but yet don't use that same creativity to name them something other than "Piano Concerto No. 1." 😂😂

The opening of the concerto is absolutely beautiful, but the rest of the first movement is just mediocre, boring.

Anna’s performance and interpretation is absolutely fabulous. She doesn’t play like she’s racing towards the finish line unlike some other pianists! Well done!!! 😊

And a splended production as well, regarding the sound setup, pictures and editing, bravo Holland.

Excellent orchestra and soloist. But the conductor .... my god .... stressfull. Bar 214, 3rd mvt, return to Tempo I, ma tranquillo , he does not enter. Makes a funny move on the 2nd beat to fake it was on purpose. Poor orchestra. He seems lost a couple of times. Very good orchestra.

I think BBC Four covered this specific concert in a programme a few weeks ago (2023). I have been looking for this particular concert, and this pianist, ever since.

This concerto is one of the first records I ever bought after being introduced to classical music at school in 1973. I have loved it ever since and what fantastic playing. If I could play it (then I could just about make my way through most of it) this is exactly how I would do it. Wonderful. Thank you.
