I sell off market Real Estate in Atlanta all around GA actually and I guarantee the market is pumping. If your moving to the area or looking for your next investment property to buy off market rather than pay retail on market price, I'm your gal 💯

Just moved to north Ga area. Housing market here is expensive not cheap like everyone is thinking. To find anything nice is $300,000 which same place was 100,000 just a few years ago.

If the worst thing you can say about my state is the pollens and the insects that is pretty decent compared with other states.
Atlanta is the worst place to live in Georgia in my opinion simply because of the races and the major race in Atlanta is not white and the crime rate is beyond the national average
It’s not my type of living but the jobs are good and plentiful so if it’s money you have a great opportunity there.

I love the south western area and the coastal areas
The fishing and hunting is absolutely amazing
great. The ocean is beautiful and it provides some of the best water to fish in
The lakes are beautiful and largely empty if boats. Bass are big and they are everywhere in Georgia. Bird hunting is about the best in all the southern states. I love my state
I drive a semi and I’ve been all over the USA and the green state of Georgia is just the best place to live. Brunswick Georgia and the coastal areas of Georgia are
my happy places.

Appreciate the video! I'm from CT and the taxes are outrageous 😑 we actually had a bag tax a while back. It was .02 for a plastic bag and .05 for a paper bag. We ended up doing away with those bags a while back for the environment. Me and my family are looking to move down south just not sure where yet. It actually costs less for my mortgage than it does for an apartment up here! Some want 1300 to 1500 a month for a 2 bedroom. They call it conneitax for a reason! I'm ok with some taxes I've been dealing with it my whole life 🙃

Thanks for this video. I agree that GA is a great place to relocate as i did. But it lacks much needed public transportation for those of us who can no longer drive our own vehicle due to illness. It also lacks sidewalks for those of us who do prefer to walk. But these lacking amenities can easily be added by contacting officials.🥰

High Millennial city and diversity can also mean there are shortages of none degree jobs... the pay is very low compared to your cost of living as in operations to get to work cost a lot of money because you have to drive long distances to work which eats any savings or extra income that you may save on housing....if you don't have a car good luck getting a job and also Ubering cost too much...depending the job you get you should calculate the cost of ubering to and from work you can be out of 40 - 80 dollars a day just to get to and from work.....unless you walk back from work which is dangerous if you live outside the city.... there are too many people seeking a none degree job... many will be homeless as a result of all these extra cost to even make a living in GA... thanks to diversity and the biases that come with it when finding work that pays well enough.... Also, since there isn't much of a retirement community here there's no old money income or retirees with money that need particular services or products, they would be able to afford, that would open up more jobs.

Too many young people up to the age of 40 still seeking more work and none are retiring; you can't get in even if you get a normal degree.... the education is a must here if you want a good paying job to afford to live in an area where the apartments aren't falling apart or you getting robbed... so come very much over educated and certified to the hilt to get these jobs, have a job already setup, that pay you to afford to cover the cost of living here and it be your only job... the taxes get you and cost of living is high not low thanks to long commutes and a crappy transportation system and the hidden taxes.... Also housing is not like New York where they cap the amount of rent so a crappy apartment that is falling apart can be 1000 or more dollars you will need roommates... if you aren't into hustle jobs... like having to have 3 jobs that are crappy just to cover cost of living and operational expenses to work those jobs that have minor to no job security... this is not the city for you...you really can't work one job in this city and be fine unless you are very much over educated and fit a box perfectly to get a well paying job and/or know someone already working at a big company that can get you into a job...networking with people is highly important which is also dangerous, pending the person.

On top of that there are a lot of hood MF in this city that will bother you constantly and if you black there are a lot of people is the white sections that will bother you all the time because they think you "up to no good" in the nicer areas...you just want to deliver the GrubHub you delivering to a person and you get the cops called on you..... I suggest going to a city that have less diversity, with more elderly people who are retired, old money is there, less young people to work basic jobs if you seeking employment that doesn't require a degree, and a city that is cheaper to live as far as taxes and cost of living to operate so you will not have to "hustle jobs" none stop just to not be homeless.... you may be able to get work.... yet, that city is hard to find these days...also, there's no escape from racism its just everywhere the world over as we see Poland push black people out of their country.... LOL

Totally agree with the numbers . At least where I live in portland. Housing has literally doubled or more in the last ten years. My buddy bought his house for 200k in 05 and now is worth 475k. Like wow.
Gonna see alot of pnw people moving. Between politicians homeless and cost of living it blows here. We just have a all around prettier state in my opinion. Only reason I stay but not for long!

1. Live in Athens - no mosquitos.
2. Use nose spray here and works well for pollin.
3. As humid here as it is in the Midwest. And only lasts three months. This state is one of the few states that has the most sunny days out of the year.
4. Sports teams...Great for the economy.
5. Education system keeps prices low and home values high
6. Corporations and good job infrastructure
7. Cost of living Lower than major metro cities...housing et El.
8. Taxes SS and retirement funds not taxed up to a high point - 62 and older great tax breaks
9. Ga leader in farmers markets
10. Savannah and other GA cities are beautiful and historic
11. Okeecanobeeh swamp 400k miles
13. Appalachian trail starts in GA
14. Atlanta international airport largest in US
15. Quarts largest dome park to visit stone MTN GA
16. All the things to do in GA is endless

Your welcome

I used to think nothing could top CA after moving to Fl. As much as I love FL politics, it is flat and boringggg. It’s a good destination place but not to live. Awful. We visited Helen GA in May, arrived at night and right there I knew we’d move here! My husband thought I was crazy for deciding such thing and AT night 🤣. Whelp. We have moved 4 months after and I’m LOVINGGGGGG GA!!!! We are in North East Gainesville for now looking in the surrounding areas for a home or here. Gainesville gives me all the Monterey CA vibes-but I’m not poor here 😆 . CA and Fl can suck it 😆 it’s just beautiful here!!! 🥰😍

I lived in the northern Chicago, IL area, central CT (8 years), and the Seattle (12 years) area. Worked aerospace contracts in USA, Europe, and Canada. I visited 47 states, now live and retired in the Atlanta area (Cobb County) since 2009. I would never change it for any other location. No competition for Atlanta Metro, not perfect, but other places are far away on my list.
