nice scenery there
🏞🏕🏔
Lovely nature. "I see fire". Be careful.❤
ОтветитьClass Trangia Jason, I love them! Thinking of upgrading to the special black edition! What did you get engraved if not too personal a question!?
ОтветитьNire Valley? always good to watch your uploads!
Ответитьin a way the trangia saved you there - they are usually fairly stable. the top section usually stays put but must have swivelled round to the gaps and popped off. when in tent I tend to use the gas adapter with my trangia.
ОтветитьGreat video 😎👌 where did you get your trousers?? Im looking for a similar pair
ОтветитьAh Jason...no matter what kind of day or week I have been enduring...once glance at your videos in your beautiful homeland...or a listen to that heart warming giggle of yours ALWAYS puts a smile on my face. You are more inspiring that perhaps you even know. Well done with thanks again always.
ОтветитьI really enjoyed your video.
It has such a peaceful and relaxing vibe, beautifully connected to nature :)
You got my subscription!
Scenery looks lovely. Whereabouts were you? It reminds me of the Galtees in Co.Tipperary near where my Father was born.
ОтветитьGreat video Jason and looking across the views was amazing. No rain 😂 Apart from the weight factor that was Hilleberg conditions, hindsight is easy 😂 Loving your confidence to light a fire inside the tent too 👍 Have a great weekend mate.
ОтветитьThat lil chuckle tho! Someone pointed it out on the last vid I watched and now I always hear it where I didn’t really before! But it makes me smile!
ОтветитьThe father and son already knew you were a weirdo, when they saw your tent that you were planning on sleeping in that wind ! :D
ОтветитьSerious comment. If you were fat adapted and didn't eat so many sugary snacks, you wouldn't need to eat before you hike back to the car. You carry 1000's upon 1000's of calories around your waist. Feeling reliant on more and MORE food in the belief that you need it to continue exercising is nonsense. I do, "IF" intermittant fasting most days of the week. Which means I eat inside a 6-8 hour window each day and fast the rest. I don't feel hungry, I can think clearly, I can train at the gym, whatever....wih no urge to eat 6x a day. Look up Paleo, Keto and Carnivore diets, you will be amazed. When I go camping, I take boiled eggs, beef jerky and mackrel in a can, stuff like that. Any cured meat sticks, salami etc, its yummy. If you give it a try, it will take weeks to months to adapt. Do the research and follow instructions, with things like, "Keto Snake Juice" to prevent Keto flu as you adapt to using fat/ketones as energy, and not carbs and sugar. Love your channel and your laugh. All the best.
ОтветитьIs it just me, or the minute you decided to pitch, the wind grew muscles?!
ОтветитьGreat evening, even with the challenges. Thanks for bringing us along!
ОтветитьCracking video Mate, i dare say you were wondering if you had packed spare underwear when the stove fell over ,LOL . Thanks for sharing your adventures.
ОтветитьAh lad whatever about upsetting that father & son by wandering around the mountain, you definitely pissed them off with the smell of that steak drifting up the mountain as they tucked into pot noddles!!!! 😂
ОтветитьThe weather man has a lot to answer for! Another cracking video. I've had so many near misses with the alcohol stove. The last where I nearly set my backpack on fire 😅😅😅
Really enjoy your videos mate! Good inspiration! 👍
Just wondering why you stopped bringing the Hillebourg tent? That should have stood up to the wind no?
ОтветитьHi Jason. Thanks!! You have answered a question. I had looked down on that area from the top and wondered if it was suitable for a tent. Fair play on sticking with it and spending the night there. It was an enjoyable and entertaining watch. All the best 👍
Ответитьanother fine video Jason, well done sir! looked like that was the Comeragh mountains? what tent did you use there, solid in the wind? Must email you soon about places in Cork, haven't forgotten :)
ОтветитьFair play once again Jason, you made it work. The grasshopper and shrew were an amazing catch on camera.
ОтветитьFantastic vid....thankyou for sharing the wildlife an scenery...really nice.
I watched in anticpation of tea an biscuits😮
I saw the ration cracker😅
Good for you for adapting...
Wow...lovely to hear the birds.
Breathtaking scenery luscious green mountains, water flowing down. Look's very cold and windy. I enjoyed watching this video Thankyou for sharing. Stay Safe And Healthy ALOHA From Hawaii ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьYou’re one of my favorite channels man. Keep it up bro. I’ve also had one of those little alcohol stove accidents before 😂
ОтветитьDude
ОтветитьWas that up in the Knockmealdown Mountains
ОтветитьLook up a taught line hitch always handy to know when guys fail. Great vid, Nice one!
ОтветитьHi Jason, just to say this is a really well made video IMHO and thanks for making the effort. On the camping side of things I suppose we’ve all had little and big dramas over the years, I sure have. And isn’t that the whole point, adventuring is the thing. Keep well and looking forward to your next video.
ОтветитьGood for You 👏👏👏
Ответитьknow the spot well 👋👋
ОтветитьNice one Jason glad you stayed out 👍👍
I can’t believe I was looking at the trangia 27 apart from the fire !😳 what your thoughts on it ?
Atb Graham
I put ceramic wool in all of my alcohol stoves to make them all spill proof. Buy some ceramic wool, lay it out on a table and use your Trangia alcohol stove as a cookie cutter and cut out 3-4 perfect fit circles and poke them into your stove. ( My ceramic wool is 1cm thick ) Now your stove will work as normal only no more dangerous spills.
ОтветитьWow, that was one thing after another. Well done for sticking with it 👏. I held my breath when I thought you going to burn a hole in your tent 😮.
ОтветитьStuning wildlife footage at the start. Nice to see a shrew!
ОтветитьCheers Jason another cracking video you didn't get much luck on that one but still managed to make it highly entertaining fair play 😁 catch you on the next one
ОтветитьGreat video
Weather and conditions make it different every time
That’s what is so challenging
Marvellous
Regards Jeff
Love the optimism... and the laughter. Great video!
ОтветитьGreat video Jason, love watching ❤️ ❤
ОтветитьI see the weather is just as good in Ireland as it is in Scotland right now.
Summer, eh? Who needs it?
brother, what is it with that fruit & oats stuff in the morning...? a fry-up, dear boy, a fry-up...! 😅
ОтветитьReally enjoyed that jason, lovely looking edible dinner as well, jesus
ОтветитьGood man Jason Sometimes things don't work out the way we planned! Thanks for showing that camping out like this isn't all sexy views, beautiful weather and perfect pitches! Some nights it just feels like why didn't I stay at home! Last weekend I did a quick overnight in Wicklow. I thought I had a good spot from Google satellite view, but it turn out to be head high bracken and gorse, so I had to make do with a rough patch big enough to pitch on the path further back down the hill, too stony to push in pegs, loads of sticks and debris, thought it would be a disaster, but it was grand in the end and had a lovely chilled morning in the sun before I packed up. Thanks for the early view, nice watch early Sunday morning when I have the big TV to myself 😂.
Keep safe lad, and look forward to your next adventure.
ATB, George
