Great video. What's crazy is for years my family would talk about MB and about how interesting it was and they'd try to tell me what I was. I went along with it casually because I knew in my spirit something was very wrong with it. I would always say, "I'm not going to let some test tell me who I am. God makes men and Christ makes them new." Deep in my spirit I knew something was wrong with this stuff. More recently I'd explain to my family what the Holy Spirit had been revealing to me about this. That it's all ultimately divination, it's a work of the flesh and quite literally Satanic.

If a man has been born again the Holy Spirit has come into him. He is a new creation, the old sin stained man is dead, the new man is made alive in Christ, having shared in his death we partake in his life by grace through faith in the finished work of his cross.

Does MBTI get a lot right? Of course they do. So did that ole Snake in the garden. But the best lie is a whole lot of truth with a little lie mixed in. And that's what MBTI does. It tells you a lot about yourself. It explains why you are inclined to behave the way you do and why those around you behave as they do. Much of it is scarily accurate. But here's the rub. The solution it provides is a spirit of manipulation and control which is really just sorcery or witchcraft. You learn what others are so you can learn how to "deal" with them in the best way possible to maximize positive results in interpersonal relationships. But what is the main goal of that but SELF gratification. You get what YOU want, "positive" relationships with others which lead to positive outcomes in your life.

But that is NOT the way you learned Christ and that is NOT his law. We received Christ Jesus by hearing his voice with faith. And now he has sealed us with the Holy Spirit, who convicts us of sin, grants us repentance and belief, regenerates us, seals us, teaches us and comforts us. So now instead of looking at my fellow man's personality type, I look at him for what he is, an image bearer of God. And the law of Christ that is written on my heart, "love the Lord with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself" can be realized as by grace through faith I take up my cross daily, dying to self that God may be glorified and my brother be placed before me.

MBTI, Jung, Satan; they all want you to seek self. But the Lord Jesus Christ calls us to the cross where self is put to death that His life might be made manifest in us by grace through faith in the shed blood of Jesus.

I would like to thank you very much for this video it is so awesome and It totally opened my eyes. Three years ago I was a student in a ministry called adult teen challenge in LA California at the women’s facility. There was a lady that came in every week and taught this 😡 she taught this out of a book and then we took these tests. This ministry is full of lost people that are supposedly being disciplined for the Lord but there’s so much they allowed to come in the facilities that teach these baby Christians heresy 😡 I did have discernment that something was off with her I did not know what. I had just come out of a few years of drug addiction I had fallen back away from the Lord and so my discernment was lacking to say the least. But the Holy Spirit is in dwelling me and my mind is clear and I have forwarded this video to the overseer of that facility and if you would pray with me that they will believe this and do something about it thank you

Yeah all this stuff with personality types, life path numbers, and astrology, etc. may have some accuracy, which is why it gets us so intrigued. But it seems that the reason Scripture warns against it is because it takes Satan's doctrines to heart, and turns our focus inward in the wrong way. The world tells us to "look inward and see God", but the Lord wants us to "look inward and see SIN" so that we may be humbled and saved. Gnosticism just elevates the Self, which keeps us Hell-bound!

Never heard of it being called "typology" before and that threw me off until you eventually expanded on it... There is such a thing as BIBLICAL typology which is all about God having used people and events in history to reveal something about who He is, and what the coming Messiah would do. Types in Scripture can be extremely helpful in our Spiritual understanding if we recognize them properly. So Carl Jung perpetuated the Satanic counterfeit very well, but he made US into "types". Oh my!!! I feel like I need to repent right now :( I had no idea!!!

I started to get back into myer's Briggs, but it was like every time I got back into it it just felt draining and vain. So I watched a whole bunch of videos today and then not the end of it all I was just done. Then it said let's look at the roots of it and then this video came up. I believe after coming to Christ being a quote-unquote ISFP I didn't really like the things that I liked before and I felt like I was using more of what I had been given as a human. When you restrict yourself to four letters, or the 16 functions, then you are restricting yourself to a lesser being in my opinion. We're called to be made in the image of God and God is so much more than these things. You don't have to continue to sit in the poor parts of yourself, you can learn to heal and type into the good parts. You are speaking the Truth!

MBTI has always given me off vibes, I find it very creepy when people think they know all your functions and assume things about you. I felt like it was basically star signs or zodiac which is divination. I’m glad to find this out. It definitely felt cult-like to me.. God gave us free will, not a personality type that we’re stuck with.

Thank you for this video. I didn't realize how influential MBTI had been in my life. Trying to gain more insight or knowledge of self didn't help me at all. I ha e crawled deeper into my solitude than ever before. I told myself yhat iy was ok because I'm and INFJ! I have to get back to reality. I was sold. Convinced that this was accurate typing and not realizing that it pulled me away from my walking by faith with Jesus. I realize how the 1% poison really dispersed throughout my life. I somewhat-frequently share this video with people who probably also had no idea about typology's origin and ties to occultic ideas.

The whole thing especially begins to break down with the individual cognitive functions; there's no good reason why any mental capability or state (or "function") has to be tied to an opposite one in a particular position (which also supposedly determines its strength/prominence.)

Pairs of extremes (or even outright/technical opposites) certainly has its place and/or use :D, its just not at all a good basis for a worldview, and is certainly not the fabric or basis of the created universe.

I've really appreciated this video; and in my own faith, I've been following the actual Law of Moses that Christ (or Yeshua) and His apostles followed. That's another topic worthy of thourough investigation.

My understanding of the new covenant had to change a great deal because of what the prophets had written about Christ's rule on the earth (millennium) and exactly what that meant He accomplished on the cross in paying for our breaking of the Law.

The religious establishment were all a bunch of frauds in the days of Christ, and every example about false teachers are actually those making void or breaking God's Law.

ALL are under the Law because it is still valid and it will certainly condemn, and all will remain ONLY under the Law until you are also under saving grace that only the Son provides.

Hi Ben, I left you a not so nice comment a few years ago on this video. At the time I was in a dark spiritual place. I was a Christian who went down the Jungian rabbit hole, mostly because of Jordan Peterson's influence. I fell prey to pride and worship of the intellect over God. I didn't realize how this happened, but over time after listening to all of these Jungian concepts, I think I started looking at myself as the solution to all my problems and not the Lord. I began to look down on Christianity and looked for the answers within my "subconscious" and relied more in psychology than faith. The Lord allowed some personal hardships to bring me closer to Him and I am now no longer an atheist. I was recently in a few therapy sessions and I always remembered you and this video because you were so kind and respectful when you replied to me even though I was rude to you, and I always remembered the book "The Aryan Christ" that you recommended. I ordered it from amazon and read it. I was appalled not only at the roots of the Myers Briggs, but also when I realized how many modern self-help concepts that are preached so widely today are based on Jung's ideas. These teachings are spiritually destructive. They sound good, but as Jesus said "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it, and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it." It's through self-denial and submitting to God that we can become our best self. Reading that Jung believed that giving free reign to our basest instincts was the answer is so concerning. It's good that Christians are finding out these things. Now I have the knowledge to stay away from these practices in psychology that use Jungian principles. The devil knows how to make these practices appear benign and positive to fool many people. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I remember back in elementary some teacher would come to our class and ask us philosophical questions and as a kid i hated it because I was already believer and it seemed pointless because everytime I would give my answer he would try to plant seeds of doubts with "what if" questions. Fast forward to my teenage years I forgot why I started searching this probably because I'm always looking up "conspiracy" stuff, I was searching for the occult origins of Jung and psychology just because I kept seeing his name everywhere for years like he was a prophet it made me very weary. So whenever I'm skeptical about a figure in history I just try looking for connections with the occult or freeman (also around that time I looked up stuff on Lovecraft and gnostism mind you this was like late 2019 to late 2021 when new age was at an all time high in popularity). Then I think afterwards I remember seeing a video on TikTok about this respected figure in psychology who said slave's who tried to escape suffered from an illness. This was the last straw for me ,now anytime I see anything philosophical or psychology related I avoid it. I stumbled on a reddit by accident with people from one of these MBTI categories and I was very weirded out , it was like a group of lost sheep's trying to find their tribe. But yeah today my brother told me this story about his high school teacher who asked them to take the tests then when my brother had a rare type the teacher didn't believe him because he didn't see my brother as "intelligent" and had put the people with that type on a piédestal , so I looked it up again and saw it's people that are finding mates based on this and that it's companies that are hiring based on this too, it's basically zodiac signs for the people who think they're wise and intellectual kind of like a duality zodiac for the people with more "faith" and this for the scientific minds but at the end of the day it's all the same... it's an idol. So yep nowadays anytime I see stuff deep intellectual "hidden" knowledge it's a red flag for me, I wanted to understand at some point in my younger years (I say that but I'm 19) but now I know that it's God blocking me from it , it's supposed to be confusing to people like me.

Found ur channel from a tom cruise yapping about scientology video. I do see ur points about how jung was inspired by occultism and gnostic beliefs. But what I didn't expect to take away from ur video was that the popular video game genshin impact also follows the four elements sort of system. also if im not mistaken their whole world building also has something to do with spirituality and matter, good and bad, ousia, pneuma, quantum and imaginary. Certain gods in the genshin world posess small chess like pieces granting them elemental powers. The name of that chess piece is a 'gnosis'. (edit: regarding the diefication, I believe there's character ascension that can be done to reach a higher power level.) There's many biblical references too in the game like the orginal sin etc. If it interests u, maybe u could share ur opinion about it? Because of this video, I have left the MBTI. I realized the mbti was not fulfilling me, but only taking me around in circles. Thank you for making this video. My relationship with the Lord has been so much stronger now that I no longer place my identity on any of these types.
