this is a looooot of work... what would be the most simple and most effective things u can do to protect privacy? Would love a vid on that.. but im guessing it would prob be 2FA's and use diff passwords
ОтветитьAny opinions on the Proton environment? Protonmail, drive, VPN, password manager?
ОтветитьПересмотрел видео, не заметил референс на бэдкомедиана изначально! Неожиданная встреча с мужиками в форме)
ОтветитьUse tape over frontal cameras.
ОтветитьI hope you've made a video or will make a video if you haven't already regarding mass collection of data by the companies like Google and Microsoft, I don't think anyone would want this kind of data collected on them falling into bad hands; starting a gaming channel has made me more concerned about this, and I think a lot of people don't even know where to begin when it comes to preventing this
ОтветитьI have informed my family about this. It’s not about hiding. It’s about having privacy.
ОтветитьIs there a framework or way of think that works best for this? I know its good to keep things separate, private, and organized based on work, school, hobbies, etc.. but is there a solid framework that helps you think like that?
ОтветитьHiding Your Business Is Not Wrong. People Don't Give A DAMN About You Not Their Wrongs To You... 😱🤯📱
ОтветитьYou don't need to use your real name if you use a pre-paid credit card and register it online with the provider, then use the zip or postal code you registered when shopping online. Also, another reason not to use SMS for 2FA is that if that number is ever re-assigned for whatever reason is someone can get access to your information, even unintentionally.
ОтветитьWhat do you think about this service called "delete me"?
Ответитьmost of these are completely unreasonable for an average person to do, let alone a tech savvy person.
ОтветитьIf you have your own domain name, you can setup a catch all email forwarder through that domain and use unlimited emails. AnonAddy can be setup as an email forwarding service with a little extra fluff and tracking. I've been using it for over a year and it works great
ОтветитьWhen I browse private things, I use Tor. For my banking, I have a unique email with a unique password just for that. For everything else? I legit don't care. Google can keep tab on all the furry porn I watch, for all I care. 😂
ОтветитьPlease make a content for web RTC and fingerprint protection
ОтветитьYou immediately lost all credibility (for me) when you said "use a Password Manager"... LOL.
Ответитьthis is outdated. don't pay with crypto if you want privacy.
Ответитьmeanwhile, Many banking corporations STILL can't be bothered to even allow users to enroll in an authenticator-based 2FA and insist on using your phone SMS.
Ответить''Don't use your VPN 24/7 for all of your network traffic.'' This dude is literally full of shit. Using a good VPN constantly (or without turning it off) is actually recommended to protect your data from different potential threats. Imagine telling your viewers to discard one layer of privacy, it's actually dumb. The level of misinformation in this video is crazy lol.
ОтветитьSo if I’m just wanting to torrent or download is there a particularly safe way to do it without getting tracked back?
ОтветитьInsightful video. Thanks.
ОтветитьThat was an awesome video!
ОтветитьHey Wolfgang, just literally came across your channel and have subscribed. Although, ( I'm embarrassed to say ) I still found this confusing, I was hoping for one simple solution, like a VPN, so will have to watch this a few times. Thankyou Wolfgang, great video.
ОтветитьAnother note on Keepass: What I usually do is host my Keepass database on a cloud provider but I require an additional key file on my local device to unlock it, which I store separately and encrypted elsewhere backed up. This way I get the benefits of syncing but if the database was ever stolen it wouldn't be able to be unlocked unless you also somehow had my key file which I manually encrypt on a local drive
ОтветитьWolfgang, this is a great video. I've been concerned about my privacy since the beginning of the internet. It's sounds overwhelming, but that's our world. I am skeptical about all the privacy, antivirus, etcétera products in the market, and even the ones we pay. They are all hacking tools. If you have someone interested in every second of your existence, then it doesn't matter how much precautions you use. I'm a living proof that we don't have privacy.
Ответить私はプライバシーが侵害されることを非常に嫌います。そのため、MoreLoginやTorなどの検出を回避するブラウザを使用して、自分の個人情報を保護しています。
ОтветитьThis guy and Naomi Brockwell are wonderful.
ОтветитьI just want a vpn so my dating apps will actually put me in my location instead of pinpointing my location and showing me everyone else in the surrounding areas over 100 mi away. I feel like if i put my self 100 mi away, they may put me in my actual location without paying.
Ответитьwhen can i sub to your onlyfans?
Ответить"yes it's a russian one, but it does have an english version..." - ahh, ok in this case I'm fcuking calmed down.
ОтветитьGreat video. I'd like to connect to ask you about a possible query. is that possible please? thanks. F
ОтветитьI think it's a great video, but my problem is more that I feel trapped by the free services for the big companies. How do I start implementing this for myself? How do I migrate away from Google stuff, docs, drive, calendar, etc? It's a big task and not an easy one. I just don't know where to start...
ОтветитьI usually make Google voice numbers, which yea I know it’s Google but I use it to give to people I don’t want to give my real number to
ОтветитьI love how you put in the kali lincox meme Lol
ОтветитьThis was an excellent video
Ответитьso how to protect your self on unprotected public wifi?
ОтветитьYou don't need to host a password manager for it to be safe. You can use bitwarden on their cloud and your passwords would be perfectly safe. It's encrypted from end to end, it was built with a zero knowledge approach. If someone breaches their data stores nothing would happen, meaningless mumble of ENCRYPTED data would be published.
ОтветитьI use a peer to peer vpn called n2n. It does a pretty good job at what it does. I do have an android client of it installed on my phone called hin2n. It's quite nice.
ОтветитьI use KeepassXC for password manager. Pretty sure its newer and more feature rich than keepass, I have never used keepass so dont take my word for it.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьFor Email
I use a forwarding service
Create a random email and it will forward to your main email
I do a lot of crypto so this is a must for me
My old email is full of scams
This should be taught in schools at this point
ОтветитьNow I don't even have to give out my Decoy email anymore! Temp-mail is so cool!
ОтветитьI think the "three letter agencies" actually don't want you to shit talk VPNs. They'd prefer if people fell into using one of their VPN front companies.
They've been known to buy entire companies in the past for surveillance purposes. Look up "Crypto AG".
Using VPNs for "privacy" is absolute bullshit. Either they're data harvesting themselves or doing something else nefarious. Theres no way a company like for example Nord VPN (which we've all seen the ads) somehow has an absolutely gigantic marketing budget for advertising campaigns on such a massive scale just by selling subscriptions that are ALWAYS ~70% off! Think about that for a second. Has anyone ever seen the subscriptions NOT on sale for a massive discount?
With a VPN you're just moving access to your data from an ISP to some other untrustworthy organisation. The only legitimate use case for VPNs is faking locations or getting around government firewalls in places like China.
Educate my what? DUDE! you are asking for the impossible
Anyway, this should get millions of views
I just searched up my name on Google and I discovered two people apart from me who have the exact same name and live in the US. Now I wanna meet them.
ОтветитьWho and where can I find a white hat that can help erase my digital footprint. I hate that companies have to be so involved in my life.
