I remember when I bought my first ps3 in 2009 with fallout 3 on the box with the console never understand the game until I turned 15 I knew what that game was about.

Going through the generations of fallout graphics to me is like watching our civilization advance in real time but it feels like we're reaching the peak and end of our civilizations timeline with the technology of AI I think we won't live to see fallout 5-6 before nations start nuking each other.

The advertising had more classic soul than the game itself

Folks from Obsidian made a better story and reacher roleplay than "find your {family member}" Bethesda lazybones. No wonder Todd never outsourced Fallout to anyone ever since as Beth never understood Fallout and dont like being ashamed at its own field.

When does it come out?

A buddy showed me this game back in 2010 (before new vegas) and I was instantly hooked. Its what led me into the Fallout Universe. When I finished this game New Vegas just hit store shelfs and I had to have it. Bought it and while New Vegas has improved RPG element's (Thank you Obsidian) Fallout 3 still holds a special place in my heart.

Too bad f3 sucks

I remember going to a video game store with my Dad and older brother when I was about 10 years old. Fallout 3 had come out a few months before and I had no idea what it was. I just really liked the box art. I asked my dad if I could have it and he said no. My brother convinced him it "wasn't that bad" for an 18 rated game (boy oh boy was that a lie). Anyway, my dad bought it for me and I sunk so many hours into it. Probably the game that I have the most attachment to and sentimentality about.

Looking back I was super young when I played this, but I'm not a jet huffing psychopath now so what was the harm? XD

People have a hole in their heads about Bethesda. I’ve owned pretty much everything from them, while they are like all megalomaniac companies today, they still deliver what gamers want. You can edit anything you want in their games if you don’t like something. The mods alone for Skyrim are monumental. People are just selfish entitled individuals today and I mean *individuals*.

Go play something else and don’t buy another Bethesda product, no one cares - as it should be.
There’s a true saying “it’s the empty cans that make the most noise”.
That’s exactly how it is today. They don’t have lives outside of their mobile phone and antisocial media.
