where can you get these matching brass inserts
ОтветитьHa Carl real nice but maybe a little small for an adult don't want kids but it happens I've been thinking of making one for me for a while now been dealing with prostate cancer for 23 years an recently found out I had colon cancer so just thought it would be nice! love your video's thanks so much may I ask where did you get the incests ? You make everything look so easy!..........Larry from Calif!! God Bless
ОтветитьHi Carl, I received my threaded inserts today! They look great! Thank you very much, Dan
ОтветитьEnjoyed the video. I turned an urn for our cat a few years ago. I can see I can do better.
ОтветитьBeautiful. So sorry for the loss of your pupperz.
ОтветитьWhat kind of chuck is that? I love how easy it is to change the jaws.
ОтветитьSorry to hear about your puppy Carl and Robin.
That is a really beautiful urn
Carl: beautiful work, beautiful wood, beautiful design, beautiful urn but I need way more volume for human cremated remains. I work for a funeral home and urn size would have to hold 5 -6 times that much. Do you have any videos of large urns using the bronze inserts? I have purchased the small insert and probably should have purchased the large one which I will do. Thank you for such a great product and I also use Ruth Niles bottle stoppers exclusively wonderful product as well. Thank you Garry
ОтветитьReally nice! What size beading tool did you use? Thanks.
ОтветитьI purchased a set of rings from you just recently. This is my first urn for a friend that passed. The brass rings are much nicer that the pvc pipe that people make. Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьOh nice! I need some of those! 😮
ОтветитьSorry about your puppy 😢
You bad a beautiful urn for them though ❤
I've noticed that more and more you go with carbide scrapers rather than traditional tools. Any particular reason?
ОтветитьBeautiful Carl. What brand of chuck is that?
ОтветитьThat is a beautiful urn. My local Woodcrafters store in Tucson, AZ told me about your channel. I'm now a subscriber.
ОтветитьI've watched several of your videos and this is my favorite piece. Hope you don't mind I'm gonna steal a little inspiration from it.
ОтветитьHI carl super good looking urns. weldone.
ОтветитьI’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet pup. The urn you made for Jackson is as beautiful as the love your family shared with him. 💗
ОтветитьA master at woodturning. Beautiful, I was surprised that was maple. Lots of figure.
ОтветитьI'm so sorry for the loss of your fur baby but he should be very proud to be in an urn made by you. Well done Carl it's gorgeous, the stain brought out the grain beautifully.
ОтветитьVery nice presentation Carl and what a beautiful, professional result! A couple questions with the Doctors Walnut oil and Pens Plus application - it looked like you put the Pens Plus right over top of the just applied Walnut oil? You don’t need to let the oil cure/dry at all? And after you parted off the bottom and finished turning the bottom you applied finish to the bottom of the urn, those products allow you to do that without any witness line where the finish applications overlapped?
ОтветитьVery nice work. Are those inserts commercially available to purchase.
ОтветитьBeautiful work, Carl. Both you & Robin, sorry for your loss. We had to put our 14 year old down two months ago. Miss her intensely at least once a day, yet. Diagnosed with cancer at 10 months, turned out to just be inflammation, treated with simple Prednisone, turning her into a food crazed puppy, was all it took. Enjoyed her for another thirteen years. I hope time heals. Might tag you on IG with her memorial. Beautiful piece, beautiful and lovingly honourable purpose.
ОтветитьFantastic looks urn Carl.
ОтветитьWhat kind of maple is this? it is so beautiful! Great work Carl! All the best. Ray
ОтветитьAw that's a beautiful piece and very fitting for such a lovely little dog. x

ОтветитьBeautiful urn, Carl. Great design and awesome piece of wood. Sorry for your loss. That's the best resting place anyone could provide.

ОтветитьSo sorry for your loss, but what a beautiful tribute to your puppy.
ОтветитьGood job Carl. Gorgeous piece of wood masterfully turned. I did miss the dulcet tones but at the end I understood how it would have been difficult to talk through that turning. Sorry for your loss.

ОтветитьSorry for your loss..
ОтветитьThanks! Beautiful turning and love the new product!!
ОтветитьJust asking. Can you give us a 101 on start to finish from sanding to the finish and what products you are using. As a beginner wanting to know. Can I go to my local store and get the products for getting started.
I think I made myself clear I hope.
I really enjoy your work. Just like this one I am watching.
