I believe charger amperage does not matter. The phone has its own circuit that decides wether it is going to charge at a certain amperage or another. The charger displays the max amperage it can provide and not necessarily the amperage at which a device charges at.

Today I bought an iphone 15 pro because "ecosystem". Man, scrolling is not smooth at all, you can't call that 120hz, it's a joke. Pixel 6 pro(yeah, old), is butter smooth and moves fast af, with some developer settings changes for animations. Apple sucks

Thank you! I had my iPhone PLUGGED INTO POWER and it was draining. I don't remember which tip it was, but it was early on. That finally changed and my battery is charging up again. "Whew". Seems a little nuts to me that Apple sets a product they sell to wear out quickly. But hey, people are insane these days and insanely greedy. Appreciate all the tips guys!

Apple did put auto update always open no matter if you switch it off on older iphones to drain the battery faster so you can buy newer .... anyway there is no task manager or task killer to stop these processes.

There’s something going on with the iOS. Ever since 16.6 I get periods of drain at like 8-10% per hour at just it on standby. At first it was after an update but now it happens unprovoked. This will last a few days and return to normal. Curiously if I put it in airplane mode during these periods it’ll drain 1% overnight 8 hours. So there’s something going on in the background when connected.

I managed to have battery health at 99% after 2 years of daily use. What I do is to set up an automatic shortcut to make some noise (or make announcement) when charged to 85% so I can unplug. I also set up another shortcut to make noise at 30% to remind me to charge.
To extend the life of battery, try maintaining the battery between 30-85% all the time, and there should be minimal degradation after a couple of years, depending on the usage.

Idk battery for me wasn't ever a issue. I get a full day and standby night and wake up with 28% after 1 year of 14 pro max

Guys can someone please help me out here. Is anyone facing the same issue? So here's the deal. I bought a new 14 pro 3 days ago and the idle drain is pathetic right now. Before I go to sleep the battery will be 100% and after waking up at 8am. The battery will be around 80%... literally its been 3 days since I bought this phone and its behaving like this. I'm currently on iOS 16.6. Is anyone else facing this issue?

Unfortunately when i bought my iphone i never really took in count how average their battery are , it drains so fast and u have to be there turning off features just to try to keep lil more , when on android devices batteries last way longer and cheaper being medium or high quality phones , sucks

I just realized the Clips app on my iphone was at 35% battery usage and I only opened it once to see what it was about. I closed it right after but it is still number one in the battery usage list😵‍💫so I deleted the app. thanks for the additional tips, I'm already seeing battery life improvement😃

people choose iphone due to all these special features. to get a real iphone experience.
