I like the B40. Looking to purchase one asap, will there be any sales coming up ?
ОтветитьWhy does he say walnut shells not recommended?
ОтветитьPlanning to get B60 asap.. so awesome! I need re-do all my wheels...
ОтветитьIt would be nice to have forced air into the gloves to keep from sweat and stank forming all up in der.
ОтветитьWall nut whip
ОтветитьAre they made in China?
ОтветитьDid not tell me where they are made. Thumbs down.
ОтветитьDo you have UK distribution for the B40 and B60? I've only been able to see the desktop unit on sale here.
ОтветитьPrices are actually pretty good. I'm surprised.
ОтветитьI plan to get either the 60 or 100 in the future. One thing I think Eastwood should change is painting the inside white.
Also, I'm surprised the 100 uses florescents. Are these a common tube type or special order? I assume T5's ?
Which one do i need for heat treated stainless steel or titanium ?
ОтветитьSo, I got the B60 and there are few upgrades that you should do right off the bat.
1. The bottom of the hopper is folded inward, creating a step that catches the media when you are trying to drain it. Until Eastwood fixes the issue and bends it outward; you should add a secondary funnel; even if it is just from cardboard and aluminum tape to cover up the inward pointing step. You will hate that step when changing media.Easiest to do before you install the hopper.
2. Add a downward pointing flange, a 3/4" plastic angle will do, around the perimeter of the door. That will block off the line of sight for the media to the foam pad. You will have media collecting on the foam pad without it.
3. Add a 120 mesh screen on the inside of the window; it will keep most of blasting media away from the glass increasing the life of glass/plastic shield.
4. Get 2 pieces of expanded steel, 18"x24"for the B60 cabinet to use them in-place of the stock shelf. Stock shelf collects way too much media and is hard to remove; that is why you want 2 pieces 18"x24" and not 36x24 single piece. Expanded steel has pointy edges on the top surface, so media rolls down into the hopper.
5. Replace the florescent tube with bright LED. Surprisingly good news is that the OEM switch is rated for wall voltage; so just need to run wire to outlet and internal socket.
