On most Apple US keyboards, going back to before the Mac, the backtick (unshifted) and tilde (shifted) key has been to the immediate left of the "1" key.

There have been some exceptions where the Esc key took that spot beside the "1" instead, and the backtick/tilde key was either somewhere to the left of the space bar (weird!) or between the quote key and a narrower return key (the weirdest keyboards had the backtick/tilde key and the backslash/vertical bar key on either side of the space bar).

Great video, another culprit is the Xcode "DerivedData" folder, delete the data in that and you'll save a lot of space.

Shameless click bait!

Hi Amir, in my case, it didn't work. I have 130 GB of system data but if I go to the cache folder it is only 1.53GB. Not sure what is eating up the rest of the spaces in my MacBook.

This i s my biggest gripe with MacOS and its been that way for years ... the OS hogs memory and prevents you from doing simple tasks like moving files to a network connected drive. For example, I have 150GB available space, yet I cannot move an 18GB file .. the OS compalains that I need another 1.75GB of "Free" space ... apparently there is a difference between "Available" which shows up in the Storage bar and "Free" space which is being temporarily used by the OS (like Timemachine snapshots) that dont appear in the Storage bar!! Many times I end up back in the Terminal using Rsync!

Be careful, caches also holds important system files that are not to be deleted, and will not regenerate. You will have to restore OS. Safely delete individual folders based on the app you suspect is taking up space

Dear, I wonder how you dare to make tech video about Mac without even knowing that you can press “option” in “finder” to go directly to (user library) instead of “go to command line” and then “~\library”!?
