I'm curious to know if you harvested cedar branches that fell already or if you harvested the branches directly from the tree; on one hand, it probably burns easier, but on the other, it probably has a stronger scent. If you take them from the tree, do you have a ritual before cutting down what you need? I'd love to hear your process
