one of the most painful moments for me to watch on the entire series was when General Lee was attacked by car strippers... his internal organs were ripped out and the life was taken from him! Thank God they put him back together by the end of the 45 minutes, bc I was about to have a heart attack.

Those were the days when television was television, my favorite friday night lineup on CBS, Incredible Hulk followed by Dukes of Hazzard and I only watched this to see Daisy Duke and then this was followed by of course Dallas.

There was something like 150 General Lee's destroyed in the filming of this show. At the end the crew were leaving their business card on this model of car in parking lots to ask if they were interested in selling.

And after they fixed this one up & got it running they had a hundred more to fix up 😂
