I dunno when I first heard this but I spent years whistling this little ditty to myself without ever realising it was Tchaikovsky or the nutcracker til I finally heard it played on the radio and looked at the play list to see what the hell it was, another musical mystery finally solved.

This song is criminally underrated out of all classical musics I've heard

If Tchaikovsky had put a little more force into the instruments, perhaps we would have remembered it as a march and not as one of the songs most associated with Christmas but that doesn't matter.
