The RL community isn't always great a naming things, but "flip reset" is both an awesome name and significantly better than "late flip restore via ball".

I remember when i was diamond in 2017 I came across a smurf who was consistently double flip resetting, in 2017!! He was extremely good with groundplay aswell, something ive never seen untill that day. After getting shit on for 5min, i Q'd up again and I got matched against the same player again... Everything reminded me of Evample, especially his ground play and the looks of his car. To this date I still dont know who he was but he was extremely good for that time but even more toxic, that and the fact that Evample plays OCE is the only thing stopping me from thinking it was him.

this makes me feel like I'm just a next generation character in an anime

That Opening Flip Reset by Fever Was what originally Got me into Playing Rocket League.

the best part of rocket league is that the game doesnt change, only the players do. Patch games are fine and all but i love when metas are created by the players themselves and are only broken by the players. Like melee, fox being theoretically the best character for ages and yet hbox with puff has been the best player in the world for years now and amsa recently won with the yoshi, so much hasnt been explored and experimented with, all it takes is for a player to put in those hours to discover the true potential
