Curious about the engine oil level sensor, is it only for internal components to use as reference or will the car display a warning light if oil level is too low?

I hear that a transmission fluid service can be complicated on this, but is it okay to just do a drain and fill, adding the same amount of ATF that was drained out at the same temperature?

Would you say it's easy to swap the CVT for the manual transmission now that the manual is dead in the Corolla?

Don't know about the rest of the viewers but I'd rather have 5+ minutes extra on the video and talk slower so we could understand the info much better. As I have to go back every now and then to understand what was that.

Bought one of these brand new with manual transmission in 2018. Havent had a single issue! Absolutely love this car.

is this car from canada? In the US the newer model came out in 2020 and used the older engine. the dynamic force engine only came with the S trims (SE/XSE). now for 2023 the L trims also have the dynamic force engine (m20a-fks). awesome review by the way!

So since this car has a drive-by-wire throttle, why does it feel so unresponsive? Makes down-shifting feel like💩

Thanks for your videos on all the stuff so many of really care about. Lots of cool technology but I wish they cared more about the long-term owners when all the critical components made of plastic could fail at the worst time.
I bought a new top radiator cooling hose assy for my 2010 Toyota 2AR-FE Engine, the improved one. Mine looked fine, everything under my hood is spotless. But as soon as I touched it the plastic section broke off. I mean I just touched it! I am sure you have plenty of experience with this.
I like the new tech like DI and regular etc. But I keep my older stuff because I do most all my own maint. I have a trusted shop to do the things I can't do because the Toyota dealership here is pretty bad, I'm surprised Toyota tolerates this dealership.
