Always find the very notion of ‘favourite’ lens a bit odd. It totally depends what you are shooting. I love the qualities of my Fuji 16mm but wold consider it a liability if I was shooting wildlife. Similarly my Fuji 200mm f2 is an amazing lens but try it for shooting indoor portraits? Of course not. Useless for that. Right tool for the job.

Where's the Viltrox 13mm - arguably one of the best if not the best lens for Fuji??? - or the Tamron 11-20mm F2.8?

I used to really love my Fujinon 35mm F2, it's still fantastic for photography, but for videography, I've noticed just how bad the focus breathing is since using my Viltrox 13mm more, it's shockingly bad. It also can't focus very close limiting it as a general purpose lens. The 33mm F1.4 does look great but that price...

Disappointed, no love for Zhong Yi glass. Bang for the buck, their 35mm f0.95 can't be beat in color rendition and microcontrast. I only own glass that have 3D pop and the ZY 35mm f0.95 has it in spades!!!

Jesus, you speak so quickly. What's the rush? The info you have in here is great. But, to get it, I have to keep watching, then rewinding and watching again, and that happens over an over. Do they charge you by the second to post these? PLEASE slow it down. Its exhausting.

Thank you very much for this video. Personally, I don't like the 18mm, it seems to me that it stays a bit in no man's land. Too long to be really wide, too wide to be normal focal. It's a "I wish but I can't". I do prefer a 16mm by far.

I’ve owned a lot of Fuji glass and as a hobbyist, can’t justify most of it. I finally settled a humble used XC 15-45mm which gives the 22.5-64mm 35mm equivalent focal lengths in a tiny lightweight collapsible package. Sure, not for heavy duty use, but perfect for a beginner or a video shooter.

Fuji has some good prime lenses but for travel, it's unthinkable to keep switching lenses. I'd get the 16-55 but it's just too heavy and pricy. There is too much hype over Fuji…

hi, I'm about to buy a fuji XS-10 and I'm in doubt whether to buy the fujifilm kit lens (18-55 f2.8-f4 or 16-80 f4) or this Sigma f2.8. My use will be for both photography and videos in particular landscapes, architecture, streephotos even nocturnes so the idea was to have a versatile lens eventually combined with a prime. I'm not a professional, but I'd like to get the best result and quality. What would you suggest me to purchase? Sigma? the 2 above-mentioned fuji lens? Any others from third parties? I'd be pleased to receive advice from you . Thanks and congrats for your videos.

MY picks for these ranges: Fujifilm XF18/2, Fujifilm XF35/1.4, Viltrox 85/1.8, Fujifilm XC50-230.

No fisheye for me either these days, though when I want WIDE (and pocketable) the Laowa 9/2.8 fits the bill well...I shoot Macro with either my first Fuji...the X20 in Super Macro mode or with a Nikkor 105/2.5 on a Vivitar Series One X2 Macro adapter using a Metabones F to X adapter. Usually the X20 offers me what I want for the few instances I want 'Macro.'

My daily income is Real Estate and that means the Fujifilm XF10-24/4. For the rare 'event' that I get to shoot...it's hard to beat the Fujifilm XF10-24/4 on one body, the Fujifilm XF16-80/4 on another and a fast prime like the the Fujifilm XF35/1.4, Viltrox 23/1.4 or the Viltrox 85/.1.8 on a third body.

For just daily 'fun' most often these days I've got one of my X-E4 bodies fit with a Fujifilm XF27/2.8 and it's brilliant.

The Viltrox 13mm 1.4 is a great addition for the ultrawide category - sharp wide open, little ghosting when doing astro. true bargain...

Are you sure the Laowa 100mm F2.8 Macro lens is made for a Fuji mount? I can only find the 60mm

I wish third party did weather resistant lenses. This is why I keep going to Fujifilm.

IMO the 33 1.4 will go down as one of the best lenses ever made by Fuji.

What would be the best lens for some street video recording / vlogging purposes?

The 18-55, 10-24 and 18-135 and my super fast 27mm are my go to user friendly street photography lenses.
55-200 is my other go to zoom lens ( more use this for a bit of nature/ amateur wildlife photog.

Is there any chance to make a separate video comparing fujinon 150-600mm not on the top cameras but instead on xt 30 or xt 2 with a 3rd party lenses with more or less equal focal distance.
