Up until this year, I grew up wanting to become an artist but my dad wanted me to become an engineer. At the time, I didn't think there was a person who was both an athlete and artist at the same time until I read up Tinker Hatfield's story and his designwork with Nike over the years. As someone working towards a BA in Arts at my local university here in Tulsa at ORU and a runner for life, from the bottom of my heart:

The black pair of shoes Tinker designed were dress shoes you could wear with formal clothes, but I guess creating for basketball players pulls the wrong crowd on certain occasions. Leather soles are out!
