I am following the Olympic games. Nepal is just there to make a number.
Nepal will never win any medal at the Olympic games.
I agree with dilipyakkha and dilipjirel that Nepal is investing in wrong sports like cricket.
My country Nepal was never colonized by the British yet today Nepali people are playing cricket. I don't blame them.
I blame our Nepali Hindu Brahminbadi government who wants to invest in cricket and fails to address other sports.
Nepal needs to ban cricket totally and invest in football and also in other sports like archery, boxing, volleyball, swimming, and track &field.
We got to develop a program to help our deserving kids excel in their sports.
Right now Nepal does not have any sort of help to develop the potential Nepali youth to achieve the highest standard in his/her sporting field. Nepal is losing a lot of talents just like that.
Please share this message. Let's ban cricket and start investing in the right sports. We need to find talented Athletes from the hills and mountains of Nepal. The boys and girls from rural parts of Nepal are the best. We need to find them and mold them into champions.
Let's hope Nepal can win a medal at the 2024 Olympic game and thereafter. It's a shame to be Nepali today.
