I think the answer is an interpretation, also the claim is from Muslims that the christian scriptures have been corrupted, so the burden is on you to proof, not for Christians to disproof, that's how logicism work. 1. To worship something you must have a basis for that worship. Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him) unequivocally said to worship the One True God and he himself worshipped the One True God. So there is a basis to worship the One True God. As Muslims we also have many verses in the Quran that also command us to worship the One True God such as in Quran 20:14.

2. However when it comes to Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him) did he himself command his followers to worship him as the One True God? Of course not that never happened and this was a later invention by other people who thought by deifying Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him) that they must also worship him.

3. David Wood knows that there is a difference between the Injeel of Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him) is different from the four "gospels" written by men. He knows that the Quran will never address the four "gospels" because they are not revelations from God in the first place but books written by men. Yet David Wood never explains this difference in the original video and in fact asserts a false connection between the two in the original video.

4. By using the word "gospel" in his challenge without clarifying the difference he knows he set up a task that can never be answered because the premise that the modern "gospels" = Injeel is incorrect. However, to his audience who are not aware of this difference he can boast that he is supposedly "undefeated" when his challenge is flawed in the first place. No Christian or Muslim believes that all the four "gospels" are in any way the Injeel that was revealed to Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him).

The word you were looking for is "venerate", but you know what, using it will prove the Quran is stupid and fails to understand Christian doctrine. Then you had to lie for the sake of your ignoramus prophet. pathetic!😂

Coming late into this video but people like him and Sam Shamoun will never accept Islam. for a few core reasons:

1) This is their living : for example, Sam Shamoun makes over 100K based on
court documents between his wife's divorce and him - these are apparently donations which can be tax free...who wouldn't want to do that? Also, these preachers have financial backing which makes all of their earnings tax-free because of being tied to religious institutions.

2)They already look at Islam from a negative lense - you need to look at things realistic and in the whole sense. These preachers have their own understanding of Islam and literally neglect what scholars say and they try to find tafsirs or understandings of certain texts that roll with their view of Islam.

3)Entertainment. Have you noticed its all about the streams, jumping on various platforms to just engage the masses and take crap about the same subjects over and over again? (Marriage of Aisha RA, wars/battles fought by Muhammad SAW, etc) - they know people like topics like this so they stick to it, just for views...not the truth.
