I had a Gen4 19 that had front serrations from the factory.
ОтветитьPrice point..beats anything out there. Bet there will be men out shoot those 3000 k guns.
ОтветитьHard to beat when a Gen5 19 is $530 and a Dagger Compact is $239. Can use the same mags and attachments so why not save some money to buy more ammo or buy 2 lol
ОтветитьNot sure if it was out at the time of this video, but they also have a full size frame for the Dagger. Looks like you have the compact frame like mine.
ОтветитьI’ve been carrying a Shield for years and the trigger has never been an issue for me personally. I actually prefer it to a dingus sticking out. I am not a Viking sized Goonigoohoo and neither is most of the human population so the one finger groove will not be an issue. Went onto the site this morning and I can purchase a base compact model shipped to my FFL, shipping included, for approximately $260.00 so after transfer fee, maybe 300.00. Also, love PSAs mission statement and can get fully behind them. Oh, and the dagger is made right in the good old U.S.A. Dagger over overpriced Glocks any day every day of the week.
ОтветитьH.O., Hickok's hands are bigger and he doesn't complain. Synopsis, get over yourself.
ОтветитьAlright Mr. "big hands" get a psa glock 17. Also your wife has ugly troll hands...
ОтветитьCan you do an updated review since there are a bunch now and they are cheap!
ОтветитьSept 28th 2023 just bought a frame for 49.99 an a complete slide with barrel and recoil spring for 189.99
ОтветитьI built 2 for less than 6 and they rock
ОтветитьI just bought two of them for around $270 each
ОтветитьDo a review on the poly 80
ОтветитьPSA always has sales going on you could build a Dagger right now for $200, it just might not have all the bells and whistles or colors you want.
ОтветитьLove the effort PSA put into this. If I didn’t already have multiple copies of all generations of Glock I’d likely pick one up.
ОтветитьIf fit/finish and reliability are a match to Glock, youll never be able to tell me a $550 Glock w/ 3 mags is better than a Dagger with 10 Pmags, threaded barrel, and supressor height night sights for $350.
ОтветитьCurrently Sept. 2023... I build one of these up for $50 on the lower and $330 on the upper (SW5, optics mountable, gold barrel version). I also bought a GG Magwell for $35 to improve the feel of the small handguard. Also got 3 Magpul magazines for $35. All in I built mine for $450 with all of the bells and whistles. Hard to beat. If you want to add a Timney trigger... add another $120, and for $570 you've got pretty BA little Gucci shooter for the price of a Gen 5 Glock 19 with no extras. If you want to add a threaded barrel option on there... it's only $20 more.
ОтветитьI know this video is a year old, but these are so cheap right now. You can literally get a complete frame for 50 and a complete slide for 150 and have a fully functional dagger for 200 + tax and shipping. Then just buy some glock mags.
ОтветитьAug 2023. $339 with 10- 15rd mags and bag. So far, I've put about 150rds through it and got dialed in, but the trigger is not great. (and I've been carrying a Gen1 M&P Sheild for years) Anyway, it is an easy fix and I am happy with the purchase.
ОтветитьTime stamp: sept 2023. This same model can easily be had for less than 300 beans. I purchased one complete frame ("lower") for 75 to FFL(25 IN FFL fee) and a complete slide and 2 15rnd mags for 188 to my door. Ordered a 18 buick light from scamazon and its just gonna be the bedside bump in the night piece.
I dont have Frankenstein hands but im also not a glock guy (glock ergos, cant stand them) so im giving this a try, already loving it
U can get a lower for 60 bucks and they have some uppers with a threaded barrel, tall sights, ports, and there optic cut for 200
ОтветитьHi from 2023 👋 They are $210 today 😂
ОтветитьI just bought my second Dagger. Paid $480 total for both. PSA is unbelievable
ОтветитьOnly two complaints i have with the Dagger is 1.) The trigger sucks and 2.) The finish on the gun is not very durable. That being said its an excellent gun for the price imo. Love the content!!! My favorite gun reviewer on the Tube.
Ответить$249 labor day sale
ОтветитьShout out to the broke clowns in the comments trying to say the PSA dagger is as reliable and as quality as a Glock, M&P, CZ, etc. 😂
ОтветитьJust buy complete slides and lowers..they always have those and put it together yourself.u can actually switch the same slide for compact or full size lower
ОтветитьSo just buy the extended lower for the dagger if you have big hands. They do sell those
ОтветитьJust ordered one in FDE for $259 and a complete Dagger lower for $59.
ОтветитьToday, these cost $250 on sale.
ОтветитьI’m not sure what Chris is talking about on the trigger or build quality. In my opinion (I’m also a competitive shooter and gunsmith, the trigger is slightly better than a gen 3/4 trigger, and the frame is the best fitting frame anybody makes in a 19 clone hands down.
ОтветитьIf someone wanted their first gun, this is usually one of my first recommendations if they’re on a budget. Glock accessories are so available and inexpensive compared to the rest of the market. PSA has been doing good work. My dagger I’ve had over a year now with no issues or malfunctions
ОтветитьWhat a difference a year makes 😀. I just bought a cool PSA slide in sniper green with lighting cuts and a bronze colored barrel for $200 and a PSA black lower for $50. The slide has some very interesting a useful cuts that a different from the mode in the video and also has a RMR optic cut. So $250 although that's without mags or anything else (like a lot of folks I have a few Glock mags kicking around). I might change out the trigger and sights down the road at some point. Maybe a Wheaton Arms trigger.
ОтветитьBru it’s a $300 Glock. Its made in America. It’s perfect
ОтветитьI’m my opinion the cz p10 series and the dagger are the best budget striker fired pistol on the market both awesome guns at great prices. Glocks are great but big price gap there. Hopefully psa will keep it up wish they would make a subcompact dagger Glock 26ish clone. If they go bang every time and decently accurate that’s all you need out of a pistol. Hundred yards pistol shots aren’t really relevant in the real world lol
Ответитьif you think the trigger adds to accuracy you just aren't that guy! just another buff
ОтветитьThis video didn't age well.
ОтветитьNice review p s a looks like a well made pistol. But I'll stick with my gen five g19 thanks
ОтветитьBetter than using a stick. Lol
ОтветитьNot gonna lie, these are great. just built mine for about $250. I got TWO complete lowers for the dagger (the carry and the full) for 99.99 and i got a slide that was on sale for 199. which ever lower i choose to use makes it a 250 glock clone that looks and shoots great. Could we see an updated video on your opinions of the dagger in 2023 maybe ?
ОтветитьJust got my slide in.. The front sight was canted and loose.. I tried to fix but the tab that fits in the cutout is a little too small, so no matter how tight you have the front sight screw, you can still move the sight slightly.. I put a shitload of loctite on it, waiting for it to cure to see if it stays.. Considering returning it. Wish sight had a gasket like Glock sights.. Might not have this issue
ОтветитьWas this the compact version in the video? On PSA site the compact doesn't have the threaded barrel and the full size does.
ОтветитьI have more Glocks then hands. I have been tempted as I think Psa makes a great valued gun. But come to my senses and realize I don’t NEED one.
ОтветитьA year after the video i bought a frame for 50 and complete slide rmr cut threaded barrel for 199 total $249
ОтветитьJust got one today. $300 out the door. Haven't fired it yet. Feels better than my gen4 in a lot of ways. Though I don't like the mag release or the slide lock..slide lock feels cheap..and mag release is too small.
Other than that. I really like how it feels. As i said. Haven't fired it yet
Just picked one of these up — my take on the trigger ergos is just the opposite. I like the hinged trigger better than the glock trigger shoe, and I have lots of rounds on stock glocks. Gen 3’s are a lot better with a 3.5# connector and a little polish, which makes the trigger very similar to the gen5 trigger.
These can be put together for very cheap now — picked up an assembled lower for $50 on sale, with an aftermarket upper the whole package comes in at about $250. Get ‘‘em while you can …
The dagger is fully stock now. You can even build them
ОтветитьDepends on the size of your hands, I have smaller hands and the Dagger fits me well. I have many Glocks and I like the Dagger better. Yes, the trigger isn't great, Slap an Apex trigger in there. This review is outdated. Price has come down. Price right now is $260 if you build like I did, parts on sale by PSA. A lot of negative comments here in this review. Full size grip is more rounded than the Glock.
