Have a small dome planned. my mind sees a small pool on one side and a small fish pond on the other side with waterfalls and streams around the dome connecting them. Natural filtration in between.

Perhaps a better heading might have been "how to filter a concrete pool without chemicals". Certainly nothing being built here and more concrete than the average inground pool.

I think they're really underestimating just how many people absolutely would love to swim with fish and frogs and whatnot.
As long as the water is clean and clear like that, that's exactly what most people would want. It's different than swimming in a normal pool, and people love a change in pace/something new.

If you had some bigger fish (nothing capable of harming people like a pike or catfish obviously) for people to swim with, I'd bet that'd only increase the interest.

There's at least one municipality in the US that treats their drinking water in this way, ie, sends the blackwater into a series of warehouse-tanks of foating greens. The greens consume the waste, leaving pure water and oxygen as a by product.

The Waste Director on this video showed the waste going in one side, and walks the long distance over to the last tank in the warehouse which has an external spigot. He turns the spigot, crystal clear water omes out, tested to an incredible level of purity, like, a "12" or something when US regulations require at highest a "380" or something...

What do the most beautiful ecologically sustainable ponds/pools have in common? First they are sealed with clay (mud?) which removes nutrients unlike plastic and concrete, second they are rich with native wildflowers, third, they look and function the same as the most beautiful natural lakes in the world, forth they have no filters because the ecological design cleans itself, fifth their waters are cleaner than concrete pools. Because of all this, the best natural waters for swimming do not look like pools. We will leave you to guess who creates these habitats.

It was hoping for more instructions not "eeeeww yucky nature mud" seriously??! Maybe actually show more of how it was made.

Clearly this man knows his stuff and has created a wonderful pool. However, I imagine the costs must be astronomical for the average family? A joy to see hthough.

You know what else is bad for life? Skin cancer. I love the idea of this, but i'll take the sunscreen. Where is the shade? What about having a grotto to get out from the sun awhile? But this is a beautiful and brilliant pool!

The pool is amazing. The Ecolodge is unbelievable beautiful. I ve been stayed there twice. As Indonesian I can’t thankful enough to him for making this natural swimming pool available for us. He is such an inspirational and he is very passionate about this pool and will be more then happy to share with you all of his rich experiences

Love how he redirected the no sunscreen take. Wear your sunscreen please! If you are actually concerned about chemicals in sunscreen, looking for "natural sunscreens". Sunburns aren't fun and same with skin cancer lol. Get that SPF protection one way or another.
